This is about mass-appeal horny, which means gross monsters get made hot and sexy with some vague nod to their traditional features, like maybe slightly pointed ears.
Human mass appeal: I was thinking that these were construct literature, in which “sexy” is not confined to human standards of conventional attractiveness, but apparently not.
Maturity isn’t a requirement of being able to vote. Any juvenile ignoramus can vote if they’ve completed enough solar orbits and filled out the right paperwork.
Unlikely that much gobble-ing will serve the turtles,’who live twixt plated decks…..clever of the turtle to be so fertile…..’ mammals, and all that. Or have some of us forgotten? Oh, well, of course I have. Huh?
Maybe it’s just blended in with his reccuring nightmare where he’s back working as a corporate mascot, and he looks down and sees he’s wearing a shirt but no pants.
Suddenly I get this image of Irene and Kai rushing back to The Library and landing in the section with huge stacks of Fantasy Porn, and Irene has to hustle Kai out before he spots the stuff about his species.

The lil turtle’s grimly determined look in panel three…
