*Do* they drone? I don’t know if we have any evidence one way or the other that Gavotte has any… then again, if her individual bees have a normal bee-like lifespan, presumably they’d have to reproduce, same way a singular organism’s cells would need to.
Several years ago a run of memory chips was shipped without the actual silicon electronic bit being inserted in the carrier. People were joking they were WOM (Write Only Memory) chips.
APL is often described as a “write-only” computer language — you can write programs in it, but you can’t come back to them later and read them. Seriously, if an APL program needs modifying after it’s written, it’s usually easier to simply rewrite it from scratch than to figure out how to modify the existing code.
And they’ve broken each of them (assuming what they did before was “working”.)
I get the feeling M.Gavotte and Mr. Green may be playing on the same field, but by completely different sets of rules – maybe even different games altogether…
Gavotte doesn’t need to be omniscent, she just needs to be well informed. Along with the various agency reports a blacks op director has access to, she can probably leave one of herselves in places where there might be sensitive info she needs. Even Anasigma’s net isn’t tight enough to keep out a single bee.
That’s right, Gavotte has been planting bugs.
(ducks flying garbage)
That aside, now we have two of the portable generators, with mention of a third still at large. Smart money is on the third one showing up to join the collection; so the question remains, what does a swarm of black ops bees need with fusion power?
Of course she loves to check them.
She’s a spelling bee(s).
That’s either the best or worst pun since Zerkhakker.
Oh come on, you were all thinking it.
Perhaps, but it still stung to hear it. *rimshot*
Careful, someone’s gonna ask us to buzz off before too long if we keep this up.
Look, honey, if you make me drone on about this I’ll break out into hives. And then I’d have to bee combed to clear them up. >:(
😉
and now we know she’s made out of /spelling/ bees..
“Four Minutes from Glory: the Furbearntrout Story”
We know it takes two hamsters to drive a robotic body.
I wonder how many bees it would take to remotely operate one?
(I doubt there is any room left inside for manual controls?)
I think that it’s time Sweetheart got a gimme assignment. She looks like she’s ready for a little… RAMPAGE.
this has been building up so Gavotte could control Violet Bee isn’t it?
“Is there any point” to some paperwork, oh dear Sweetheart
Field Reports also look good on paper.
(TUNE: “Let It Be”, The Beatles)
Now the field team has returned, outwitting
Anasigma, so she sees!
Now Gavotte can use her
Spelling bees!
When Sweetheart asks why they’re submitting
Lengthy field reports like these?
It’s ’cause they amuse her
Spelling bees!
Spelling bees, spelling bees, spelling bees, spelling bees …
Dear Gavotte is made of
Spelling bees!
How cleverly Gavotte has picked her
Field team so they win with ease!
For she has efficient
Spelling bees!
“Did you get the fusion pie named Victor?
Stick in the wall safe, please!”
Seems she has omniscient
Spelling bees!
Spelling bees, spelling bees, spelling bees, spelling bees …
All done with the aid of
Spelling bees!
Also, “my” fusion device? Until recently, that thing was running a mobile city of Mads. Also, how does the drone/corpse not even get a mention?
MM, Those bees already drone. So… of what use would a drone named Bee, be to a swarm of bees?
Oh, good grief, I’ve *just noticed” the “drone called Bee” pun.
What use to bees
could a bees’ drone be
if a bees’ drone be Drone Bee?
*Do* they drone? I don’t know if we have any evidence one way or the other that Gavotte has any… then again, if her individual bees have a normal bee-like lifespan, presumably they’d have to reproduce, same way a singular organism’s cells would need to.
As intrinsically bureaucratic as Sweetheart is, does she really care if her paperwork gets read, as long as it gets properly filed?
What Terry Pratchett calls “write-only documents”. (This may not be original to Sir Pterry.)

So now they have 2 out of the 3 nuclear Robbers.
And they’ve broken each of them (assuming what they did before was “working”.)

Unity: Now we can make…two fusion pies. Two is bigger than one, so…WIN!
Two! Two fusion pies! Ah ah ah ahah
Did Sesame street ever handle the issue of nuclear proliferation?

so the current theory is Gavotte was Violet? I kept rooting for Pavane… 🙁
No, somebody from Anasigma was controlling Violet, not somebody from Skin Horse. Two different agencies.
