“I say we take off and asteroid the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.” There is now this whole film going on in my head with alien explorers being terrorised by parasitoid dinosaurs.
There’s Cinnamon, but I don’t know how he’d feel about that. (Or is he a she? I think it was said, I think we even discussed it, but I don’t remember. So many details…)
Cinnamon was stated to be female in the file name story, but she was also tabby there, I believe. In the comic itself, she was shown as ginger, which is far more common in male cats than female cats.
My head-canon is that she changes colour thanks to MAD SCIENCE!
I thought she was calico in the filename story, which is far more common among female cats than males. Either way, it was something difficult to draw consistently. Thankfully, mad science covers a multitude of things.
“The shelter had a mascot – a tortoiseshell cat named Cinnamon – who patrolled the halls and usually stopped to lick herself in an indelicate area right in front of Sweetheart’s Plexiglass. Sweetheart knew she was losing it when she started to look forward to seeing Cinnamon.”
Who wants to bet that Pavane is about to get a taste of that “fearing our potential” she mentioned?
After all, we know Pavane is a coffee drinker. The pump is primed for another rampage by Sweetheart!
“One does not simply destroy what must be carefully destroyed.”
I need that on a bumper sticker or something. Simply destroying and carefully destroying are two vastly different things.
Or on a T-shirt.
A destroyed T-shirt
I would totally destroy that t-shirt.
I’m sure you can ask someone to destroy you up a T shirt that says that pretty easily.
Yay! Destroybots! Destroy our friends!
The Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose, “Too Late to Turn Back Now.”
Destroy.
These things must be done DELLLLICATELY.
Quite. Destroy with care.
A+ ref.
Well hello, favorite characters!
Now a spaceship is not a toy. One does not simply destroy. It’s a matter of degrees, the brain trust agrees, that it needs a softer deploy.
When in doubt, wipe it out – Chicxulub meteor

I’ll counter with “Nuke ’em from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.” – Mell W. Kelly
This is going to snowball very quickly, isn’t it?
Luckily, Sweetheart has some experience with this sort of thing, and will know when to duck.
It’s OK if they destroy so long as they don’t set the cat on fire. ^_~
Which cat? I’d agree with Leo, but it might be safer for everyone if H.T. didn’t quite make it out.

I’m kind of impressed that Sweetheart used the phrase “brain trust” and Unity didn’t immediately show signs of hunger.
She did just eat tacos, not telling just what was in those tacos.
