Makes me wonder when the last time Baron had downtime was. I mean, downtime in computers is considered something to avoid, but downtime in living beings is pretty much necessary for sanity. Assuming they can get him working again (which I’m assuming they will), I wonder if it’ll have helped clear his cache or otherwise make him feel better.
Baron Mistycorn is a product of Whimsy tech. He can be revived by True Love’s Kiss.
Good luck with that.
Agreed.
Though they’re all sorts of weirdos on the internet.
Oh, Baron. If only there was someone out there who loved you.
Nick and Dr. Lee, simultaneously: “Eww. You first.”
This has been a thirteen year-long gambit to slowly turn Nick into Lightning Boy from the X-files, hasn’t it.
I didn’t even realize what I was doing until I rewatched that episode for Monster of the Week.

Folks: Was this before or after the Cartman Chip?
That episode first aired 2 years before South Park even premiered, so very much before.

Scheduled downtime for maintenance is a good thing for computers, its just that its users prefer not to have any.
Unscheduled downtime could cause all sorts of problems. Maybe Baron will be reset to an earlier, less bitter state (including loss of memory)?
Unscheduled downtime not only causes all kinds of problems, it is also usually caused by all kinds of other problems.
Hopefully, Nick’s only “problem” here is that he doesn’t know how to control a heretofore undiscovered feature in his hardware.
Next…Nick can settle his flamewar with Jonah Yu…
“To soon”
Nope!
Well, SOMEONE had to do it.
Agreed.
Baron M. seems to have gone gray, too.
…a whiter shade of pale…
