Realistically? Their chances should be good. But then this is Skin Horse crew we are talking about. It’ll require several miracles for them to arrive at their destination, never mind for the server to remain untouched. I hope that server is ruggedized and waterproof, it will need it.
Nick has seen where this entire storyline is leading and he’s already completely done with it. Silver lining, though: they can swap Baron in Vegas, a sentient foul-mouthed unicorn doll has to be worth a few hundred in chips.
I for one would love to see Baron Mistycorn apologize to Tigerlilly and ask her nicely to build a teleporter to get them to Kansas, only to have her explain she’d like to but the area is shielded – the best she could do is get them within 100 miles…
I feel the urge to make a prediction here. Vegas can work its magic—and we’ll find some or all of the characters saying wedding vows in the Chapel o’ Love.
It is traditional to send your precious cargo through enemy territory via an unexpected meandering route while sending up a flashier decoy to draw away the eyes of the enemy. But I don’t see how this could possibly turn into a proper Lord of the Rings pastiche while the wizard of Lovetron stays home.
What are the odds they succeed in this mission? And what’s the spread?

Yeah, but after ten minutes the casino would ask for a refund.
Seattle to Kansas via Vegas. Yeah, nobody would predict that.

Oh, and BTW teleportation is already among the spring-powered abilities built in to Mercury J. Buchanan.
But she didn’t tell them that.

Only if there’s a mojo-related mishap and one of the characters has no idea how he or she got to the chapel.
Do you, osprey helicopter, take this mad-sciency type woman….
Best bet, but there’s Aimee and Baron M….and maybe Sweetheart and Tip…
Mighty NoWall! if ANY of your prediction happens, I will (eventually) burn some incense in honor of your name.
Come from the direction they least expect. First, cross the Pacific…
Bubbles could help with that.

The Wizard in this case quoted Saruman, who did stay in Isengard (in the book till it was over, in the movie till the bitter end for him.)
You remember the books better than I do apparently.
