Maybe someone’s already mentioned this, but it occurred to me that it’s “We’re coming to get you” as in “We’re coming to rescue you; give you a new home”.
If it is indeed Pavane that’s inducing the dreams, we’re talking about a swarm of bees. Bees can’t not be spooky… or at the very least, disturbing. And Gavotte did warn Sweetheart that no one was going to like Pavane’s idea of “help”.
Since it seems to have turned up in zombies, robots, humans, and Nick, it’s hard to say what’s up. Thought the original thought, from Pavane and Gavotte, was to rescue the transgenics.
I’m just thrown by his coloring. I’ve seen pictures of silver foxes with the solid coat, black ears and paws, and white tail tuft, but never a red fox.
Since there are 12 different species of “true foxes”, and 45 different subspecies of the red fox alone, and since Renard is a product of Mad Science, it’s anybody’s guess if he’s any one species, let alone which one. That’s why I just say he’s a fox, and leave it at that.
Down another wikipedia rabbit hole it is, then… after foxen, this time. So the Silver Fox is actually just a colour morph of the Red Fox, highly valued by the fur trade. They’re not a distinct sub-species: it’s more like a hair colour in humans. They can be selectively bred for the trait in captivity. There’s also an unrelated Gray Fox in North America.
And incidentally, he was always on the dark side. When we first met him, he was already an inmate in The Cavern, which means he had done something pretty bad.
So now the tiny fox lives among the intelligent opossums?
Time to funk out to UFO Disco, I guess.
Does look like a possum is tossing a Frisbee back in the background.
So Cosmognothics did have some scripture…
That’s not an antenna embedded in the opossum’s head, it’s the armrest and leg of that bench. Just so you know.
Maybe someone’s already mentioned this, but it occurred to me that it’s “We’re coming to get you” as in “We’re coming to rescue you; give you a new home”.
If that’s the case, they could have been a wee bit less spooky about it.
But that wouldn’t be any fun!

In Sweethear’s dream, Not Captain Bram that the whole idea of appearing as a parent or creator was to be reassuring.
They’re just really, really bad at it.
“Sweetheart” and “Not Captain Bram explained that…”

I am liking this little guy more and more.
…please don’t have him go to the dark side.
I’d also like to know what species of animal he is.
“Renard” is the French word for “fox”. I think you can take it from there.
I’m just thrown by his coloring. I’ve seen pictures of silver foxes with the solid coat, black ears and paws, and white tail tuft, but never a red fox.
It’s the most common fox species in the world.
There is no telling what coat color a “red” fox will have. They range from near black to the sexy blonde ones that live in my neck of the woods.
Since there are 12 different species of “true foxes”, and 45 different subspecies of the red fox alone, and since Renard is a product of Mad Science, it’s anybody’s guess if he’s any one species, let alone which one. That’s why I just say he’s a fox, and leave it at that.
Well I’m glad that’s settled then.

Thought the Silver Fox was Charlie Rich. Wasn’t Redd Foxx on “Sanford and Son?”
And incidentally, he was always on the dark side. When we first met him, he was already an inmate in The Cavern, which means he had done something pretty bad.

Tigerlily is going to be in seventh heaven, isn’t she?
“Now you reassure me.” Well, if it’s Pavane and her plan, you get to go with them, too, Renard.
Summoning its children via brain rays? That sounds eerily like what’s happening with these nightmares. Maybe it’s not Pavane after all.
Unless… what if Pavane is the Mothership? Or in control of it, anyway. She’s from space, right?
Well, Tony did say that “the Golden Ones will take us in their UFOs.”
Sounds like bees to me.
