It’s back to the basement again.
Back where their friends are no friends.
Where Dr. Phillips waits,
And the brick controls the gate.
Back to the basement again.
Tryin’ the shaft aloft.
Hopin’ his landin’ is soft.
But the cable is too old,
And the dumbwaiter can’t hold.
Back to the basement again.
Whoopi-ti-yi-yoh,
Puttin’ on a show,
Back in the basement again.
Whoopi-ti-yi-yay,
Ruinin’ his day,
Back to the basement again.

A dumbwaiter that goes to the roof is pretty odd, so maybe it’s supposed to go down to get there. That would make the shaft a complicated architectural feature, but no one understands it but Tigerlily Jones…
First off, do they even have sub-basement there? Or is Chris just going to be stuck at the bottom of the shaft?
Second, how much do you want to be he finds something at the bottom that absolutely requires what’s in the Skin Horse files . . . , that are being eaten by silverfish right now.

Stick to the smart ones.
Oh snap!
Ahahaha! 😀
You win, Sir.
He took the elevator, but got the shaft.
Shut your mouth!
But he’s talkin’ about the shaft!
The shaaaaaaaaaaft
That feeling in the pit of your stomach is felt sense. It has interesting properties.
Ropes are tasty too!
What has been happening with the other players? What will he find in the sub-sub-sub basement? A Monday morning cliffhanger?
It’s called pattern recognition.

Don’t worry, you aren’t falling. The world is accelerating toward you!
Free fall is nice.
It is just the sudden acceleration at the end you have to look out for.
If everything is coming your way, you are in the wrong lane.
