At this point, we have to assume it’s equally likely that it could be either Anasigma controlling Cypress, Anasigma using zombies reverse-engineered from Cypress, or Cypress acting on its own. Heavy use of electrical power seems more like artifice than natural processes though.

So Anasigma is using the Cypress as a weapon to stir up tensions between zombies and humans?
