I suppose we should be grateful that they understand human sexual conventions well enough to write about them instead of just assuming insect or arachnid conventions would be were what comes into play! ^_^
Well they also speak human language, write human operas, equip themselves in miniature human hats and swords, practice organized religion…
That said, silverfish themselves could in theory be said to kiss. The first stage of their mating ritual is that, “the male and female stand face to face, their quivering antennae touching, then repeatedly back off and return to this position”. That sounds surprisingly analogous to kissing.
And this is how mythologies get started. Generations of silverfish in the future will be reading that fan – er, gospels on stone tablets (made from chips of concrete) and using the imagery in their architecture. Which, I just now realize, is far more disturbing than anything written in them. My apologies to the form audience.
No, no… in battle they kiss accidentally.
Kissing lustily is something else entirely.

They’re into opera, human sexual conventions are the main subject matter.
Their opera plots are _slightly_ different. http://skin-horse.com/comic/a-rusted/
True, but they clearly studied human opera, then adapted it to silverfish biology.
I actually forgot about Captain Beyond and that chapter of the comic. XD
Does anyone have a link to the comic where Captain Beyond did that?
If I can do this right from a phone…

Fanfiction equals divinely inspired gospels. Well, that might explain a lot.
Yes, elsewhere I’ve heard the New Testament described as Old Testament fanfiction.
If so, it’s seriously OOC. Nowhere near enough smiting.

…Has that 10 been there since December? If so, my change blindness has been getting a workout.
You mean the SH logo up there? Yes, I’m afraid it has.
October 2016 to April 2018… an 18-month brick joke.
18 months? I choose to believe panel 4 is a garbled account of http://skin-horse.com/comic/todays-comic-376/ from 2010.
I can’t track back, but Tip also kissed Chris during Gavotte’s sex stupor.
Does this mean we’re in the third act of the “Skin-Horse” play? All the threads are coming back together.
Or we may simply see a couple tangents resolved, only to watch a few more split off…
Oh I like her already.
