It’d be a good thing if Renard goes with Skin Horse. They’ve been a rogue agency for a while. With Renard on board, they can unite with his vast wealth…and they’re getting paid again!
Maybe I’m forgetting something (yeah, I do that), but I thought he was only having trouble at that gas station. He didn’t have any trouble purchasing those bus tickets.
The trouble at the gas station was the attendant being dead (and not undead) – it puts a damper on productivity. As long as required humans remain alive (but interact purely via remote means, to nullify the filter), he should be fine.
I think they’re both sad that H.T. let them down, although Renard should have known better. I guess H.T. is just so charismatic that many are drawn in by his charms, even though he’s a jerk. (Well, original, non-swamp-thing H.T., anyway.)
H.T. even charmed Sweetheart long enough to get one date. He had to work at it, because he’s not really her type, but still…
Oh, Tip was duly impressed by the outfits – they were, after all, from Tremontino. His only disappointment was that he was supposed to make the opossums less noticeable, and those outfits are exactly wrong for that purpose.
Infiltration Successful!
Since they’re still outdoors, I wouldn’t say they’ve “infiltrated” anything just yet.
Exfiltration Successful!
HT left, so…
Exfoliation Successful!!
Nice.
I bet it’s not the last time.

SH may have to figure out how to reconnect him with his vast wealth.
I can think of three, four ways he can do it.
It depends a lot on how Renard’s wealth is held and/or invested. I’m looking forward to seeing how this develops.

Well, I couldn’t tell whether H. T. had anything to do with that…it was an assumption, but he might’ve been there just to check it out.
You will be assillimated.
“i am Lysdexic of Borg. Futility is resistant, your ass will be laminated.”
Your ass will be simulated?
Your ass will be stimulated.
Sex Borg. I am not comfortable with this at all.
Y’know, in Panel Three, it looks like Renard and Twelve are about to cry.

Saved from an Awww Geeeeee moment by our heroes.
I’m pretty sure #12 is about to cry there. Nothing causes a crisis of faith better than finding out your god truly doesn’t care about you, after all.
I mean, as mission statements go, it’s pretty on the nose. (Boop)
Did you make that statement? Were we on a mission? Well, then.
Seems like a pretty fitting mission statement though.
I get the feeling that Reynard and Sweetheart are going to get along just fine, and be able to commiserate over a couple (dozen) drinks.
I bet Tigerlilly will go nuts over Reynard’s costume :p
…And probably Tip too, now that I think about it.
Technically Tip’s seen that outfit before on the opossums, and was left… shall we say, less than impressed.
Oh, Tip was duly impressed by the outfits – they were, after all, from Tremontino. His only disappointment was that he was supposed to make the opossums less noticeable, and those outfits are exactly wrong for that purpose.
Very true. Though if they’re anything like Tip’s suit, the fact that it’s tailored to the opossums as opposed to the fox may knock some points off.
That third panel sums up a LOT of conversations I’ve been having with people on social media lately…
Renard’s comment in the first panel sums up a lot of mine. Just when I think I’ve seen it all, someone manages to find a way to be even more stupid.
To be fair to Unity, that is the mission statement for most public service groups.
