And this might be a good time to reconsider that decision to not go with Marcie, which presumably would not involve battle with anyone in a criminal lair.
Or Chris may have to remember that the equipment belongs to the DoI, and that he can’t just grab anything he fancies either, even if he used to work there. I wonder if he will at least try to ring Marcie first.
So, you are having trouble believing the ‘shadow government,’ which appears to be basically Anasigma, will just let Chris take equipment that it accidentally-on-purpose [speculation, I admit] paid him to use on DofI projects?
They weren’t willing to attack Annex One to recover anything, and the place Chris would logically take the WI-90 to is Skinhorse. Which is still a de facto Anasigma division. My question is, how did they manipulate Tigerlilly into this scheme? Or did previously gathered data before the portal’s destruction let them foresee and manipulate this opportunity?
If I wasn’t confident our authors/artists didn’t plan all this out months in advance, I would suspect Tigerlilly of using the WI-90 battle as part of a Prince tribute [yes, I know she is inspired from a previous era, but I can’t believe she wouldn’t like Prince]. Imagine Tip suddenly getting funky as he gets blasted by purple radiation waves…
I think I’m right in saying that the Second Gate was designed by Sergio but built by persons unknown. If they can do it once, they can do it again. From this, I’d assume that they would build another one if it was useful.
I would have thought that too, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t technically Mad Science so you’d think that once it had been invented they could build another one. But Anasigma seemed to think otherwise.
Okay, someone needs to introduce Tigerlilly to the concept of video games. All the fun of an arena battle between mads, and none of the collateral damage to your lab. Might save on costs for equipment later, not to mention avoid getting the Man’s attention.
And I thought getting The Man’s attention was actually the whole point. She claims to hate The Man, but what would she do with herself without an order to overthrow?
Little bit nonspecific on the invite there.

But on the upside, you’d be with Marcie
“Y’all”? Robots who talk normal! Hot da-, uh, diggetty!
Would youse prefer it if the boid said “youse?”
Well, it seems that the screaming is just a message passed along from Tigerlily.
It’s only yours since you stole it from Marvin the Martian in the first place.
WI-90 Gamma Irradiators: indispensable in the manufacture of Illudium PU-36.
There was supposed to be an earth-shattering KA-BOOM!
Looks like Chris may have to go the ruin formerly known as Annex One and retrieve some equipment. This could get interesting.
Well, I hope all the basement denizens of Annex One have moved on to new accommodations…

I thought it was a turkey farm? A jive turkey farm, at that.
Great, now I’m hearing the bird with the voice of Casey Junior (the locomotive from Dumbo)
