Honestly, I’m surprised he doesn’t power down his meat sack under circumstances where it’s not doing anything important and/or Ginny-related (maybe have a bunk in the copter for the purpose? – we’ve seen he can basically shift entirely to copter mode while awak). But under the circumstances, it’s probably a very good thing that he’s very aware of his brain container and it’s active and around allies who aren’t hunting for brains.
oh my lawl third panel leo is my cats every time there’s a loud noise in the house
You must have surprisingly large cats.
If Salty’s cats are like mine they make up in sharpness and velocity what they don’t have in mass.
Mine too.
Well, that answers the question of where Nick’s meat sack – I mean “peripheral” – is.

Panicking lions and zombies are gonna play hell with Nick’s weight-and-balance calculations. 🙂
Isn’t his brain in his meat sack body? That sounds pretty necessary?
His point is that he doesn’t need to operate the controls manually, like other pilots.
Of course, he does need to remain conscious, so Leo might want to let him up.
He can talk and point, so he must be okay. Leo should just make himself comfy while Nick and Tip deal with their actual problem.
Nick can’t do much to deal with the actual problem while Leo is sitting on his head.
Can’t resist.
Does this make Nick a lying lion butt head?
You need that body for something else, Nick. And don’t you forget it.
I’m sure that Dr. Lee would be happy to remind him. Several times over, if necessary.
Can we say that Unity is nude if there is not a stitch on her?
Of course there are stitches on her—even with what she’s got she’s stitched together.
Quick, Tip, put a hat on her!
Where’s Bitey when you really need him?
I think this is the first time Leo has landed on somebody other than Tip.
Interesting if Leo *chose* Nick over Tip for “calm and reassuring” protection…
Tip’s a quick study. He sidestepped Leo’s pounce.
Took him twelve years, two months, and twenty-five days to learn it—unless I miscounted.
Well you don’t typically get a lot of chances to practice being pounced on by a Lion.
For all we know, three practice runs is pretty good.
