TBH, I don’t remember her either. But Sweetheart is a dog: Every mail lady (or mail man, for that matter) is sinister. Frankly, I’m surprised she only mentions one.
Apparently so, and there’s at least two good reasons for it:
1. Battery life.
2. Not broadcasting all the time, which would make it obvious that somebody has a comm link if anybody scans communication frequencies.
Tip could’a just told Sweetheart that H. T. was there. It’s like all the post-original “Star Trek” away teams—going out of their way to not tell Captain Whoever what’s actually going on in front of them.
See I read Tip’s comment as a somewhat elaborate “Guess what?” Sweetheart was just supposed to say “Who?” and the conversation would move on. She’s the one who’s slowed things down by actually guessing people.
(I’m not saying I wouldn’t do the same thing in her situation, but I’d be doing it on purpose.)
Not at all. There are a lot of people who work for the US Postal Service (or any other postal service, for that matter) who are not postal carriers. The only ones the dogs hate are the carriers who approach the dog’s homes.
The sinister mail lady tops HT in Sweetheart’s book? Given this is skin horse, have have no idea if I should consider that ridiculous or not.
To be fair, the mail lady was very sinister. And she appeared to have a grudge against Sweetheart.
I don’t remember the Sinister Mail Lady. Which storyline was she in?

So Tip’s comm link is only on when triggered rather than 24/7?

Well, that finally answers my question on how Sweetheart didn’t hear anything during Tips time loss.
Isn’t HT technically the transgenic league?
Didn’t the League boot him?
I don’t remember seeing him being officially booted, but I kind of assumed he was removed from office when he was sent to the Cavern.
OK, now we need a Weird Al cameo sometime before the comic ends.
I can just see it now… some comment about how so many people have taken up “Dare To Be Stupid” as their personal anthem.
It all arises from his desire for you to “Polka Your Eyes Out”

I would think Weird Al would be pro-nonhuman sapients.
Unity has a theory.
Of course, the question is whether Unity came up with said theory when she was high on brains or not.
If she’s still Chief Paperweight and lacking a body, how did she digest said brains to get smart?
Sweetheart never said when Unity came up with said theory.
It is possible he is a nonhuman sapient (at least in this universe).
(Possibly in ours as well.)
It’s possible that he’s a Superhuman Sapient (at least in Skin Horse & Narbonic).
I cant wait to here unity’s theory. They usually are more outrageous than anything else in this comic.
She believes ‘Aluminium Foil’ was all true and that he’s on to them.
I like how Tip thinks of H.T. as a “person”. Even though he’s been absorbed into the collective…
I’m sure Tip would whack sweetheart on the nose will a rolled up newspaper right now if he could.
I see what we have here is an example of the natural friendship that exists between dogs and postal workers.
Postal *carriers*.
Same thing, surely?

*I* was a postal *clerk*.
