Aimee only entered the Whimsy VR in order to investigate the mind control.
She wasn’t aware she wasn’t real until she got a hold of the crown, which is the centerpiece of the mind control, which she’s trying to keep contained by sacrificing herself and keeping everyone else out.
So yeah, maybe she could have kicked them out all along… but at the same time, she’s probably not thinking straight, having just found out she isn’t a real person. She also doesn’t like the prospect of using more force than necessary, and so tried to simply discourage them into leaving first.
And just before this, after giving them all a chance to talk to her but not being convinced by them, she did order them to leave. Since they weren’t going to willingly go, she had to forcibly eject them.
Probably. She’s somewhere in the depths of the ‘Net, trying to find a connection or Wi-Fi station to talk with Nick and convince him to go back to convince Aimee she doesn’t have to stay there.
Nick can leave the Baron, though, that’s alright.
(side note: where is Other!Nick now? Is he going to be the Tin Soldier to Nick’s Woodsman?)
Nick found her uptight, there in Whimsey Heaven.
Him with Mistycorn and Lovelace along.
And there they stood,
And Baron M hit on Aimee
All their avatars, they knew it was wrong.
For then Aimee just said, get out, get out, you’re getting’ my goat.
Aimee just said get out, get out, you’re gettin’ my goat.
They’ve just made a terrible blunder,
They had struck on a horrible note.
Get out, get out, get out, get out,
Get out, you’re gettin’ my goat.
They failed that in that little room of heaven.
The fair princess felt she had been dissed.
They stood around nicely hoping he’d keep quiet,
But then Baron M was bound to insist.
For then Aimee said watch out,
Watch out, or I’ll end your trip.
They’ve just made a terrible blunder,
Their brains were still missing the boat.
Get out, get out, get out, get out,
Get out, you’re gettin’ my goat.
And with that gaffe they’re tossed from Whimsey Heaven.
Falling seriously short of their goal.
With a boop they were back in the real world,
Baron M off to Tumbler to troll.
And Nick said to himself, he’s out, he’s out,
He’s gotten her goat.
They had just made a terrible blunder,
And this time that was all that she wrote.
Get out, get out, get out, get out,
Get out, you’re gettin’ my goat.
Get out, get out, get out, get out,
Get out, you’re gettin’ my goat.

It shouldn’t take too long. They were sent in there to find Aimee. They’ve found her. Whimsey probably already has someone lined up to go in there and grab her (whatever that means in this context).
Sorry, Aimee, but if Nick’s a princess, you’ve gotta be one too.
If Nick’s a princess, and Aimee is genderswapped Nick… wouldn’t that mean she’s gotta be a prince?
*cue theme from Utena*
Isn’t this from Rama 1/2?
If it was that easy for her to boop them out of the sim why not just do that all along? Hmmmm…
I agree. _Hmmmm…_
Yeah, we’ve seen that transfer to “sim of reality” stunt before.
Yeah! And are we supposed to believe that Nick couldn’t find anywhere to wrongswear in his first 6 words out of the sim?
On the other hand, as Nick pointed out, Baron’s personality did revert.
It’s not clear to me who is speaking in the fourth panel.
It’s Nick, Baron Mistycorn is sitting inside him so Nick gets to be ‘voice of god’.

Ayup. I think you’ve got it there.
“I’m a wizard, not a princess!”
I think you meant to write, “Dammit Nick,” to the beginning of that sentence.
So Baron’s attraction to Aimee was purely the programming? o_O
Oh, I doubt that. But I also doubt his current 4channish self is capable of expressing such emotions.
I suppose it might also be the Internet Junkie’s equivalent of getting drunk to deal with a setback. >_>
Or he probably does this after every girl rejects him
So what happened to Lovelace?
She got…booted off the server too?
Probably. She’s somewhere in the depths of the ‘Net, trying to find a connection or Wi-Fi station to talk with Nick and convince him to go back to convince Aimee she doesn’t have to stay there.

two – booted out of the machine – ending? Say it ain’t so. No.. there are a few twists more to go!

Baron M was lined up to go in there and grab her.
Grab her where? Where would B. Mistycorn put Aimee if he caught her?
More what he would put in her than where he’d put her.
