They probably won’t go that far, but one kiss and I’m guessing Nick’s wifi will start activating everything in a mile radius. U.N.I.T.Y. and her knockoff might get a slight headache from the radio signals causing their nanotech to vibrate.
You sound like me, and yes, you should. The first time I binge-read the whole thing, I did it in two days. When I reached the end, it was like jumping off a cliff with a rope around my ankles. I got to the last strip, and I ran out of rope – just dangling there waiting for the next strip to be posted. I’ve probably re-read the whole thing over a hundred times now.
Although one can exuent via an airstrip, it isn’t considered an “exit” per se. But, all they would have to do is prevent anyone from boarding any craft that could make use of the airstrip, and it is effectively sealed.
The airstrip may have its own security measures, remembering that an intruder can cause a lot more physical damage there than in the office. If they took the Osprey there for salvage rather than to use, they may not keep it in a flight-ready state anyway.
How did that go again? “Obi-Wan Kenobi, you’re our only hope.”
Use the Force, Nick. Trust your feelings.
Use your instrument panel, Nick. That’s what it’s there for! Advanced weaponry designed to hit tiny objects.
This one goes here, that one goes there.
Please consider yourself upvoted.
Have you tried turning your Nick off and then on again after two minutes?
Right? I guess Nick has not yet figured out that Virginia wants him to steal back his Osprey body.
From her question the other day “did I get it right?”, and his response “yeah, that’s me”, I think he knows.
And “Aw, man, they been tricking me out!”
As far as I’m concerned, Dr. Lee needs to work harder at turning Nick on before she can get to turning him off.
I don’t think Dr. Lee needs much practice in the department of “turning Nick on.”
Who knows what she and Tigerlily Jones installed when they were recreating Nick in the flesh?
Instructions unclear; Nick didn’t last two minutes, but somehow he’s still turned on.
Instructions unclear, pens stuck in light socket… wait no that’s working, what did those two do to you Nick?
… 10 times a day for the last 3 years.
It may be time for Virginia to apply Tigerlily’s rather effective “get your mojo back” technique to jump-start the Osprey’s engines.

Dr. Lee is irked that Nick has no confidence now but during the tournament he was so dominant she practically swooned. She has total faith in him!
Sounds almost obscene: “Unity! Time for a Biscuit-ride!”
Are communications also cut off? Not to steal the spotlight from Nick, but they do have a giant robot not too far away…
If all exits are sealed, I guess no one here was defying management’s directives by taping fire doors open.
The exit could still be blocked by a person, even if there’s a comb jammed in the door lock.
I’m sad that I caught up to this. XD I should re-read it.

I just came back and read my own comment, and it looks like I was saying that yes, you should sound like me, which is not at all what I meant.
You sound like me.
Yes, you should go back and re-read it.
How do you seal all exits from an airstrip? There’s one very big one that they have an Osprey for.

Guns, usually.
