It does, actually. Look fabulous, I mean; good flowage and bounce and everything. I bet Nick could even do the head-fling thing that people only manage in shampoo commercials and shojou manga.
That head-fling is a serious neurological disorder brought on by over-use of toxic shampoo I tell you! You ever see guys with greasy hair do it? Proof!
I’ve never actually been on it, but I’ve heard that on Disney’s Small World ride, the cars are these cup-shaped things which swivel to point you at the different scenes. Looks like the only film projector in the Little House is somewhere on the World of Love ride….
Small World is boats. Haunted Mansion has swivelly seats, but they’re not cups. The Teacup ride for Alice in Wonderland has swivelly cups, but they don’t point you at anything; on the other hand you can spin fast enough to make yourself vomit if you work at it.
Yeah, I was thinking it looked like some kind of cross between the Tea Cups & Doom Buggies, maybe something like the Pooh’s Hunny Hunt trackless cars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pooh%27s_Hunny_Hunt#Ride_system). Since Whimsy seems to be a Mad Science version of Walt I could see him creating a system like that decades before WDI.
I forget where Tip is from, but getting your hair did is slang from a bit farther south than South Philly. You hear it all the time down here, no matter how erudite someone is, like y’all or fit’n’ta.
Properly did hair is its own reward.
Truth.
Isaac Asimov’s “Foundation” series comes to mind.
But will they meet the Seldon or the Mule? o_O
I’d rather they met Sheldon and Amy. Amy could definitely use some Tip attention in more than one way, if you know what I mean.
hoo.
I’m disappointed no one got popcorn for the movie.
Surely you mean sammiches…!
Popcorn sammiches.
Exploding Popcorn Sammiches! Boom, baby, Boom!

What are they riding in, anyway?

“Hair did”? I thought it the phrase was “hair done.”
He done got his hair did. And what’s did is did.
(Yes, it should be “hair done”. Nick is known for gaming skills and mental toughness, not his grammar.)
Tip, however, usually has better grammar than that. ANTONIO SMITH, Forensic Linguist, would be so disappointed.
He’s quoting Nick. Imagine him saying it in disapproving quotation marks.

“Hair did” is the past tense of “hair do.”
(TUNE: “Yes Sir, That’s My Baby”, Walter Donaldson & Gus Kahn)
Answers, hope we get ’em!
And, sir, won’t regret ’em!
Answers, won’t forget ’em soon!
Where is Doc Collodi?
There is something naughty
‘Bout this Doc Collodi goon!
Nick’s hair was did …
Tip flips his lid!
Don’t expect no thanks, God forbid!
Ooh, please, hush up Sweetheart!
Movie, now we see start!
First, we get a twee cartoon!
it is…..
the LOST EPISODE OF WHIMSY!
Maybe it’s something like the war time propaganda Donald Duck cartoons.
I wanna see Goofy teach us how to merge into freeway traffic!
I’m calling it now. This entire multi-year-long arc is all leading up to a surprise birthday party for Sweetheart.
In some ways, Tip and Sweetheart aren’t that different.
They both have a laser-focus on what they believe is the important details in life.
It’s what they define as “important” is where they go their separate ways.
