Let’s see, superintelligent, obscure, making intricate plots to control everyone. Yeah, I can see a connection between the agency and her. Hopefully Gavotte has fewer superweapons hiding in her hive.
Sometimes I have the feeling I really do miss quite a bit not reading his blog and stuff. Booh. It’s like cross-over episodes between tv shows. I don’t want to read 10 other things I forget to check after a while, even if they’re equally cool and neat 🙁
Those were the days that I miss now,
When we were all in the lab …
The Captain zapped me like this now,
When I was there on the slab!
How fab!
[CHORUS:]
I love those good old shocks! Electrocution rocks!
It’s just like in the old days!
It really knocks my socks! Electrocution rocks!
Two-twenty volts and three-phase!
First, U-ni-ty, what does she say?
“You’ve got the hat on your head!”
Then hear the voice on the P.A.,
“You should already be dead!”
I said … [repeat CHORUS]
I think this just goes to show how unquestioning Sweetheart is about command structure, authority, and hierarchy. Most anyone else would have had figured it out by now or gone through a complete mental breakdown. So dystopian, yet so accepting of it. Need to palm face.
So abusive childhood much? Is that just normal for mad scientist creations?
Dear god, yes. On a casual glance through the Alaska story I just found the line “Oh, hey, look! The slab where I used to get vivisected!”
Are those HazMat suits or A.I.M. agents?
That’s not an ‘or’ statement. AIM agent suits are deliberately designed for protective purposes.
Specifically, beekeeping…
Knowing AIM the are superintelligent bees linked by a hive…mind…OMG I think we just found Gavrott’s secret origin…

And now the hat is a baseball cap.
Seriously, what is it with Sweetheart and sports?
Actually, you’ll find that is has been a baseball cap all along.
GAK! I feel sheepish…
Thanks for clarifying!

The lightning bolts seemed so much bigger back then…

Rescue is at hand. Unless they all get sucked into whatever is playing out, too.
What needs to happen now is for Mell to show up wearing a top hat with the words WAKE UP written on it.
You’ve bene reading Little Nemo, haven’t you? 🙂
Is “you’re wearing a hat” an observation or a request?
(… i know i know, you’re just going to answer “yes”)
It’s an observation. Sweetheart is still wearing the hat. The end of this story arc is going to be in question for a while.
