A bunch of rogue modrons, specifically. Regular modrons would fit themselves in the hierarchy, taking the man’s (machine’s?) orders without thought of groove. They would be the antithesis of Tigerlily and all she stands for. These little cube cats are doing their own thang, which means that Tigerlily can’t control them either. A three-dimensional paradox, dig? Outasight.
Huh. The Tip-Tigerlily Mojo clash has been one of the longest-running unresolved threads in this comic: will there finally be a conclusion, or is this just a cruel authorial tease? 🙂
You saw what happened to Jonah, Nera, Sweetheart and Unity. Terminal plot implosion threat level is escalated to Orange. Techs to install software to enforce a 50-mile exclusion zone and jam all communications between Nick and Virginia.
Gavotte and Pavanne’s stasis chambers to be cooled to the temperature of the cosmic background and shot into space in opposite directions. Giant meteor deflected towards Planet Lovetron.
