I have to look twice because at first glance my impression is that Alfie is Olympia’s hand puppet that she uses to communicate in regular, if petulant, english.
Oh you know how it is, Elastigoose there will be around for an issue or two then spontaneously separate into her component selves again. The US government really is cynical like that.
By the whatsit…I had the impression AG-I disbanded after their last fiasco on the Habakkuk…though I’m not sure why…maybe it was just some of them left the org after that.
Not disbanded. Just staged a small coup against Panoptica. So they basically went rogue, kind of like the SH gang. Apparently, they simply stayed on board the ship.
Punny
Looks like he grew out of his goth/emo face, hopefully he grew out of declaring Bubbles his girlfriend.
Well, he doesn’t really need to keep declaring Bubble his girlfriend, now does he? He’s literally wrapped around her constantly.
What’s more, this is a *useful* boyfriend. Useful as a jaunty nautical scarf, sure, but that’s useful!
Service!

Ah Sweetheart wants less …flexible… arrangements.

I’m thinking the exchange went, “Hey, you’re missing a period in the first panel.” “Hmm? Oh, OK….”

I thought Goose Girl and Shelby had quit and joined the Habakkuk crew…but then this elastic-type AG-I hero turned up…
I can’t tell if the pun is intentional or not. And if it is, whether it was intended to be funny on its own or ironic.
Is anyone still counting “off-panel head inserts”? ‘Cos… yeah, that.
