Okay that was supposed to be Nick shouting “Table for seven, (BURGERS)!” but apparently we’re allowed to use HTML in these disqus comments, so it just ate the censored swear as an invalid HTML tag? Who knew.
More like Little Johnny Tables for seven, amirite?
It’s totally true. Most brilliant women are not appreciated, although they may also
be accepted as a force of nature. Simultaneously. Nobody ever said it was going to be easy for women either.
Final scene in this arc – after escaping the airport base with the data, the Osprey, and quite possibly half the base security chasing after them, they land on Annex One and Nick tells Virginia “I just wanted to say thank you for looking for my old body” and gives her a gentle kiss. From the outside, it looks like a peck on the lips, from their perspective, it’s the kiss from the “end of WWII in New York” photo.
Pygmalion had a similar problem with not being appreciated by his creation.

I’m pretty sure that the whole point of installing the tranceiver in his head was so that he could both have his old body back and goink Virginia. Although she apparently didn’t mention the second half to him.
Did they really do that?
Well, sweetheart did ask which delicious breakfast item she couldn’t order when she took Nick through the drive-thru
Stupid BK app won’t let me order a Whopper at breakfast time, even though my local BK will totally sell me a Whopper at seven AM.
“Table for seven, !”

Sorry to hear they did that. I worked at Burger King for years, many years ago now. I’ve seen too much of it to ever want to eat there.
I see he’s not insisting on disarmament anymore.
People shooting at you give you a different perspective on that. Now he wants to disarm them, not disarm himself.
I suspect that he thinks the guns look cool but would not want to actually use them.
To be fair, he may have been talking about his massive biceps PFFFFFFFFTTT sorry couldn’t keep a straight face.
Does he mean arms, wings, or actual guns? (Yeah, yeah, pacifist, but … Anasigma refits, who knows! )
“Huh. Seems they replaced one of the 50 cals with somethng called ‘Experiment 157.’ ”
*ZORT!!*
“Okay. Saving THAT for the end boss…”
I think they upgraded to Vexxarr’s “Zorp weapon”. Why be *gently* destructive?
It could also be literally muscular arms. Just for a funny image.
Project: Trogdor was a unqualified success.

I mean this IS Nick appreciating your hard work. He’s just very Nick about how he expresses it

I thought that Virginia had already told Nick the plan.

She did! Hence, “did I get it right?”
She just didn’t tell Tip or Unity or anybody else on this mission. π
Nick. Babe. Boink Dr Lee before it’s too late!
This is Skin Horse, you’re allowed to say Goink

Priorities 2 through 18 that were not to be asked about, as I recall.
Then it *is* Nick’s old body, and not some random helicopter?
that would be a twist
Last we saw, Ira was going to swipe his seats.
Well. I stand corrected.
