Nah, we’ve done this. It’s just like Dave invading Madblood’s base and pretending to be Madblood from the future, except he’s not even bothering with the transmogrifier, but jut running on sheer chutzpah. 🙂
The Swamp Thing parallels are increasing, given that it turned out Swampy was a copy and not the actual soul of Alec Holland. (Of course Alec was in fact dead and in Heaven, so not exact.)
The “killed by his wife” backstory was established here. He never actually gives his name, but Remy started calling him Godfrey here, so presumably that happened off-panel.
Please don’t. I can only handle one level of thinking at a time, which occasionally [often] makes Skin Horse more than a bit opaque to my wandering brain.
Dammit, unquiet spirit possessing an eyeless alligator corpse, you’re letting down the side there.
Hmmm….. I wonder how gator nebe got those memories.
Swamp thing memory absorption, ghost from the future or an impostor/clone/tein brother

The guy with a shotgun must be a pretty convincing impostor. (That or the alligator is lying.)
Was there a time before this that we knew whom the alligator was supposed to be?

Perhaps even the alligator himself doesn’t know who he is.

You just can’t trust luggage not to lie around where someone’s story can get tripped up.
Oookay, this is where it going to get (even more) complicated . . .
Awkward!
Well this suddenly got weird.
Suddenly?
