there used to be a cereal called “Skinners” …no chocolate, no sugar, no taste..
But, it had at least two toy prizes in the box!! We promise to eat it THIS time Mom
Good lord, who would eat that! I’m a grownup, and I wouldn’t eat that. (Although I am still about 50% kid, so I might not be the most representative example.)
We find ourselves very forgetful. It makes us all feel so regretful. But time has its flow, and the least we can show, is a little hail-fellow-well-met-ful.
They try to get into his head. It gives them no feeling of dread. But a rat name of Valiant joins their bacchanaliant—and it’s him that E. B. wants to wed.
“What ho!”? Has he been hanging out with the Dork Knight?
I think he’s just watched too many Errol Flynn movies.
Except one
So they meet at last, in the flesh. Alfa Alfa will be *so* jealous…
Why does “poing!” remind me of Sluggy Freelance?
Kiki poings.
Kiki is made of poings.
“Sing a soing, play some poing, eat a deviled egg…”
Because you’ve read Sluggy?
Just imagine if he’d brought Crunch ‘n Munch instead!
The consumers wouldn’t be as hyper as those that ate chocolate coated sugar bomb cereal (Ala Calvin and Hobbes).

A box of Skinner, huh? I think I had some of those the last time I played an EA game.

Y’know, browsing through the old strips, looking at the comments…we neglected to wish Jeff a happy birthday this year.
Then in the spirit of Alice, we should celebrate an unbirthday for him today. Happy unbirthday Jeff!
I say a re-birthday is warranted, too! 😉
Indeed! Happy unbirthday, Jeff!
Hey, thanks to all y’all’s!

Brill! Are you quoting someone, or may I quote you under similar circs?
No, it’s original. Though I may have lifted the rhymes from somewhere else.
Let me congratulate Jonah on his well timed and placed snark in panel one. Good job, sir!

Just wanted to say that I had never heard of Fiddle Faddle before this day. I kinda want to try some now, though.
Fiddle faddle is an expression meaning “trifle”
as in “it’s just fiddle faddle” (usually translated into “modern” English as “it’s nothing”)
It’s also a snack in the “popcorn and nuts with a sweet glaze” line.
