That said, I particularly like how Nick has implicitly assumed the role of team leader and Tip is bringing up the rear figuratively as well as literally!
I’m really curious how Aimee and Lovelace are going to attend the wedding, though. I can just see Nick rigging a holographic projector, Dr. Lee interrupting with drone bodies then Tigerlilly swooping in with cloned bodies…
I’d note that Lovelace doesn’t have a human body to clone, (for Aimee TJ could just do a gender-switched clone of Nick), but then I’m probably not thinking Mad enough.
Oh, I get it now! But, butbutbut….if Aimee and Lovelace have a Klingon wedding, which one of them recites poetry and which one throws furniture? Do they take turns?
Thats the courtship. Klingon Weddings involve a retelling of the tale of the first two Klingons created by their gods, in which they joined together to kill the gods, beating as one unstoppable heart. It concludes with the wedding couple getting attacked by the equivalent of the groom’s best men, who have been enduring a fast and rather strenuous physical situations prior to that moment.
Two AIs give in to an urge. On a spiritual plane they can merge. But as they are bedding, Nick invites them to his wedding, as each other’s plus-one they emerge.
I just downloaded “The Dire Days of Willowweep Manor” to my phone and it *does* allow advancing panel-by-panel (double-tap to toggle between page and panel presentation).
Nick has Dr. Lee, Aimee has Lovelace. What is it about them that seems to attract highly intelligent, morally questionable, and (apparently) hot women?
Looks like they’re staying!
D.Walker, I apologize. Lovelace herself has confirmed that I was the one being “meatist” by insisting on drawing analogies.

It’s amazing what getting it on and (apparently) being good at it can do for one’s self-confidence.

they could just put up a screen and a webcam
I vote for Funky robot bodies TM By Tigerlily
Oh I get it, calling dibs on a klingon wedding. I was about to ask what she meant.

When my husband and I were writing our wedding vows, I really wanted to use the Klingon service, but he wasn’t having it.
And you married him anyway? Now that’s true love!
Sorry, Tip. It’s all on you now to keep the mission on track. You’re just going to have to step up and do it.
After calling dibs on doing makeovers for everyone for both weddings, of course.
You mean that’s NOT the mission?
I just assumed that the makeovers were… well… assumed.
Well, Nick said no, but Virginia wants that, so we know how that will go.
Ahem, if I may: EEEE!
Tip desperately trying to recapture the role of team comic relief before he gets any responsibility on him.
It’s a mood!
If they meld, then the resulting creation can actually use a shipping name. Aimlace? Lovemee?
Lovemee is a little TOO perfect.
Yes, but Aimlace sounds a little too much like “aimless”.
The last few strips have been too cute for words. Also: that bridge is strange and delightful.

On a side note, just today received my copy of “The Dire Days of Willoweep Manor”. :-))
Awesome!

And is it reproducable?
