I’ve got a purple t-shirt with nothing written on it, and there’s nothing notable about it. The real question is why people seem to be confused and unsettled by Unity wearing a blank t-shirt.
I suspect Chris and NamesAreSilly are making an somewhat obscure reference:
“Fnord” (/fnɔːrd/) is a word coined in 1965 by Kerry Thornley and Greg Hill in the Discordian religious text Principia Discordia. It entered the popular culture after appearing in The Illuminatus! Trilogy (1975) of satirical and parody conspiracy fiction novels by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. In these novels, the interjection “fnord” is given hypnotic power over the unenlightened, and children in grade school are taught to be unable to see the word consciously. For the rest of their lives, every appearance of the word subconsciously generates a feeling of unease and confusion, preventing rational consideration of the text in which it appears.

This is not helpful. What exactly are we supposed to make of the statement that ‘In these novels, the interjection “ ” is given hypnotic power over the unenlightened…’? And how did they create a Wikipedia article with no title?
White is supposed to symbolize purity and innocence. And with all we’ve seen them carry on, how, in the words of Walter Finlay, do they make that tricky U-turn back to purity and innocence?
Will anyone take up the offer? They’re giving Pavane the brush-off-her. They will be spearheading a Nick and Gin wedding, but Tip has been told to bug-off-her.
Yeah, it would be, but it would also blow the decorations all over the place and discomfort the guests. Sometimes ya gotta take consequences into account.
I think the only correct response to, “Let Tip dress you!” is, “Us. If he’s going to do my wardrobe, he’s going to do yours too.”
This.^
I mean, but of course! Their outfits need to look good together, that calls for coordination.
I third this response.
Better Tip,
Than Baron Mistycorn….
Zomg! Why is unity’s t-shirt blank?!

It says “fnord,” it’s her “fnord” shirt. Unless it was blank when it went up and Ms.Garrity penciled in a correction.
It doesn’t say anything. It does make me feel a bit…uneasy, though.

“how did they create a Wikipedia article with no title?”
The pen is mightier than the fnord.
Except ‘fnord’ isn’t the word, it’s what indoctrinated people see instead of the actual word, fnord.
So are we just going to do this once a week until Unity changes her shirt?
My guess is yes.
At least once a week.
Oh COME ON let Tip dress you!
Whimsy Princess or suit?
Just remember that neither Nick nor Dr. Lee should wear white.
Pretty sure Nick’s never been married before. I don’t think Ginny has either. And that’s the current etiquette for white, to the extent there is any.
White is supposed to symbolize purity and innocence. And with all we’ve seen them carry on, how, in the words of Walter Finlay, do they make that tricky U-turn back to purity and innocence?
As long as they get married before Labor Day, what’s the problem?
Ginny Blushing number to be confirmed, but at least 33.
Ginny Blushing #37

Speaking of Tip dressing, I appreciate that he had the foresight to change to Pastoral Cult Dress as this plotline was starting.
But the more important wedding-planning question is, which body is Nick going to stomp the wineglass with?
Traditionally, you stomp it with the foot of the body you’ll be using on your wedding night. And this is all about Tradition.
But a helicopter coming down and precision stomping a glass with a landing wheel would be all kinds of awesome!
Yeah, it would be, but it would also blow the decorations all over the place and discomfort the guests. Sometimes ya gotta take consequences into account.
You’re saying Nick WOULDN’T want to make all of the guests uncomfortable?
How wouldn’t the celebration take place *in* Nick?
Sweetheart in a British colonel’s uniform. “No, no. Too silly!”
(She’s not accepting any rescues that offend her sense of propriety. )
YES!!! YES YES YES EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(I feel so much better)
