That was one minor point that I really liked in the newer J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies – 4-point harnesses on all of the seats in the ship’s command center.
By the time anyone could get from Kansas to Fairfax, Tip would be in the outer atmosphere. He needs a different plan even if there wasn’t a battle going on.
Anything resembling a helicopter can automatically get where it needs to be just in time, regardless of the time or distance involved, as long as has the ability to play Ride of the Valkyries through an external speaker.
Wilkin’s trouble will just have to wait. Nick’s primary air defense—great. With a couple of dragons are their battlewagons, may those missiles not eviscerate.
I think he’s got *something*. He screamed and carried on that time he got damaged on the way to the HMCS Habakkuk, so one would think there’s something in his skin. (Of course a storyline later he claimed he had no skin.)
Yes, and it would totally make sense for those sensors to translate damage to his helicopter body into perceived pain, since his brain is, and always has been human.
Tell the dragons some of those drones have a soft meaty center, but they have to be cracked open to eat.
This is probably the first time that Nick has missed having seatbelts.
It’s like “Star Trek.” If they were strapped in you wouldn’t see them bounce around.

Yup, Tip’s just going to have to mojo out.
With who?
With Grace, of course.
And, style and panache, flair, and perhaps a little haste.
Maybe Unity can throw up on them like she did on everybody else.
They’re kind of high for that, aren’t they?
Then Nick and the dragons can put Unity over them and she can throw down.
I’m pretty sure they’re sober

You mean it always travels at the speed of plot?
If they’re dragons from Pern, they could be there in an instant.
“Gone away,Gone ahead” Pern reference
They could be there before the instant. Tip isn’t the only time traveler available.
Hopefully, they teleported away before the missiles struck.
Oh no, not again.
Wilkin’s trouble will just have to wait. Nick’s primary air defense—great. With a couple of dragons are their battlewagons, may those missiles not eviscerate.
Does Nick have nerve endings in his helicopter body? Or is the sting from his peripheral bouncing around his interior?

Not “nerve endings”, per se, but he is outfitted with quite an elaborate array of sensors.
