Well, it looks like Moe called it! “Humorous” death indeed. I hope for Ron’s sake that Ginny built the armor well enough to keep him alive and in good health through the landing. ^_^
Your use of the phrase “emergency air supply” has caused me to imagine that, as Ron adjusts to his new gooey surroundings, an unexpected but comfortingly familiar recorded voice sings in his ear:
“I’m all out of love; I’m so lost without you.
I know you were right, believing for so long….”
So thanks for that, Shadowmehr!
(No, really, thanks! I’ll be giggling all night and well into tomorrow about that one.)
Oh, that would be just perfect… prefaced by “Your battle armor has detected that your oxygen intake has been interrupted. Emergency Air Supply has been deployed.”
This green bug done bit her, didn’t mean for it to get her.
Woo, something on the rooftop, and she needs to inquire.
No, no, it’s not a new hire, bug is a real tightwire.
Ooh, a concerning vexation, needing quick extermination.
Bug is like an itching on the roof, something like a goof,
Just an itching on the roof, and Hitty, she can flick it.
It’s applying, ooh, it’s external.
Zerhakker must help her, yes, Ginny must help her.
She’s been climbed on by the green bug.
And she needs some calculation to help her end this complication.
Now, when you’re bit, you swat at it, when it’s bad, throw a fit.
What can she do, when bug takes a toll, a toll on her?
Bug is a cause of damnation and a sudden malformation.
Bug is a risk of infection, and she knows the correction.
Got her scratching and a-feeling, on the space above the ceiling.
Bug’s an itching on the room, and Hitty, she can flick it.
It’s applying, it’s external, it’s infernal.
It’s not docile, not eternal, but external.
She’s been climbed on by this green bug.
And she needs some calculation to help her end this situation.
It’s a cause of damnation and a sudden malformation.
She’s been climbed on by this green bug…

Ron let his emotions override wisdom: Don’t let the potential victims know of your plans until *after* you have them in your power. Not that wisdom is a job requirement for “thug” or “cannon fodder”.
Yngvi is a louse.
Ron’s just a blood sucker.
Heh. Yeah. Let’s hope that Ron doesn’t pick this moment to develop the powers of a warlock in spite of himself. ^_~
Or the compleat skills of an enchanter, maybe?
Well, it looks like Moe called it! “Humorous” death indeed. I hope for Ron’s sake that Ginny built the armor well enough to keep him alive and in good health through the landing. ^_^
I hope for Karma’s sake that she built the armor only well enough to keep him alive.
I hope for comedy’s sake he lands headfirst in something soft enough to give until he’s stuck up to the waist.
Before you accuse me of sadism, I’m sure Dr. Lee put in an emergency air supply in the armor.

+1,000
I aim to please.
Don’t you mean “Service is my only joy”?
:sigh: Virginia should be nicer about it. Mean to her or not, her coworker probably didn’t *mean* to end things by flying off the handle.
Well, he’s certainly gone off the deep end on this one.
Maybe he and his battered armor can get a job in Colma.
Armored zombies – that’s a scary thought. Will they join A-Sig or the machines in this battle, or do the undead think neutrality is possible?
Dunno. It’s so hard to get an answer out of them.
I don’t know…many of the zombies in Colma were quite chatty.
Kudos to Dr. Jones for rendering enemy personnel feedback as itchies! Just because it’s Mad doesn’t mean it isn’t practical.
I’d guess it’s his stealth suit blocking her sensors rendering him as “something fuzzy”

Wonderful!
In learning to control Annex One, Hitty has become more nuanced in her application of force.
When all you have is a hammer, all you do is hit. We’re discovering hidden talents now that Hitty has more than just a hammer.
Since she has a hammer, she’ll hammer in the morning, she’ll hammer in the evening, all over this guy…
Ron let his emotions override wisdom: Don’t let the potential victims know of your plans until *after* you have them in your power. Not that wisdom is a job requirement for “thug” or “cannon fodder”.
There are arguments that excess wisdom would be a hindrance in those two professions.
I’m okay with this. He was going to murder them. I’d have gone for squashed, but flicked away works as well.
Frankly, I’m surprised that Hitty’s “flick” didn’t kill him on impact, but then we wouldn’t have gotten the comedic scream fading into the distance.
Somewhere, Over the Rainbow
Ron has flown.
If his armor can save him
He’ll hit the ground and groan…
We’re willing to overlook some problems with the physics for the sake of a good Wilhelm scream.
Or a Goofy holler
Even better. Also, I’m glad to know the name for it now.
I wonder if that flick freed up the suit.
Probably. Concussive maintenance is a prime mad science trope.
Probably just repositioned it so it’s frozen in a much more awkward – and certainly more painful – pose.
