She’s headed to the lab. “Lucky” is probably not the best word to use, or at least probably with a wildly divergent definition than what most would consider.
There are six YEARS of Shaenon’s sweat in Narbonic. I suggest reading it first without the cheat sheet (director’s comments). The art and storytelling have improved vastly.
Re-reading Narbonic at the moment, and I’ve just passed the point where Titus introduces himself. #310 is, indeed, his chapter number.
That’s a very long book.
Narbonic and SH is on my quarterly re-reading cycle. Only trouble I have sometimes is figuring out the archives so I can pick up after the last printed book.
And altho it is painful to track down the separated segments – The extended Narbonic Sundays (Steam tunnels of mars, and Artie vs something (a pudding? I need to go look again) make for good reading in the web archive. I still think those would make a good supplement book or stretch add-on to one of the published tomes.

Your undershirt
Is on display!
The shirt that’s worn beneath your clothes!
I can’t avert
My eyes today!
The sight affects me, goodness knows!
The world I knew
Has just been wrecked!
But I’ll face it now without remorse …
Your undershirt
I’ll now dissect!

The commentary for the following strip says “Originally I didn’t think Titus had actually had a relationship with a mad scientist, but something about the way his face came out in the third panel made me change my mind. Maybe this advice is based on personal experience. I kind of like the idea that Titus is rather popular with the mad-science ladies.”
Dare I ask what her research is going to consist of? Glad to see Titus remained loyal, though.
I have to wonder if this is Titus’s lucky day.

Yay, Titus! Long time no see.
My thoughts, too.
Ohmigosh, it’s Virgina Lee Burton’s Little House.
Because of course it is.
Man, there’s so much in this comic one misses if you don’t read the comments.
A little box that’s on a hilltop, a little box that’s full of ticky-tacky…
I don’t even think he’s being sarcastic in that last panel. This is something he, as a well-informed henchman, needs to know.
…Particularly when you remember that she’s just escaped from a somewhat abusive booby hatch. >_>
Wait a moment. That picket fence is distinctly unwhite! Some 50’s dream house this is.
It’s integrated. Imogene is hip to change.
Doesn’t seem like it would be something *anybody* is qualified to dispense!
TITUS!!!!!!
Is Titus from Narbonic? I’ve never read narbonic, maybe I should. Also what century and decade is Imogene supposed to be from?
He is (sort of), you absolutely should, and the 1950s.
Maybe?! Maybe?!!!

Tigerlilly is drastically underestimating Titus’ mojo potential. I remember how those ladies at MadScientistCon were oggling him…
I was probably Dave scent.
Pretty sure it was the fact they were spoken for – whether or not they realized it.
Pheromones or summat.
…have Titus and Echo Bravo ever been seen in the same room together?
His expression seems to me to be “fascinated” and possibly “intrigued “.
Even odds he’s been carrying a torch for her.
Titus rules about that sort of thing.
It’s not clear he if he’s always kept them, but he has them.
Good behavior doesn’t preclude interest. Window shopping in any case

I don’t know what happened there. Anyway, it was meant to be here:

Does he still have the quantum pda Dave made him?
Good question. I bet Dave sent an upgrade.
Local #310?
He manages the henchman union. Maybe it’s his number?
Or the number of his union chapter?
Which raises questions about the fates of chapters 1 through 309.
Depends on what it’s a chapter *of*…
You know, the usual: turned into undead creatures, eaten by said undead creatures, lost in time, turned into a fine mist, etc.
Much like the Von Boom Awards ceremony.

Wait wait wait. Yes that’s VLB’s little house but is it also The Little House?
For those who haven’t read Narbonic, scroll down for Titus’s mojo.

Oh, and since I’m sending out links, here’s Titus on why it’s a bad idea to date mad scientists, since Daibhid C’s link only works if you truncate it.

The survival instinct line is delivered with averted eyes. I Think he’s lying.

That’s what I get checking via my phone between meetings and at lunch – didn’t even THINK to read the commentary.
This strip http://www.webcomicsnation.com/shaenongarrity/narbonic_plus/series.php?view=archive&chapter=49469#strip5 always read euphemistically to me. I think Titus isn’t as detached as he claims to be.
Well, If we’re going to be fixing links… yours links to the start of the week, not the specific strip.
Like any of us can reread just one strip, anyway.
That. Anyway, context helps the memory.
Yeah, I was providing a week’s strips on purpose. Also, it was easier for me. 🙂
I’ll have you know Titus is perfectly qualified to dispense Ginny’s meds.
…With his pelvis!
