Earlier today I read the comment as “see what happens when you irradiate different parts and then put them together”. That would be more their style, maybe.
If that’s a female uniform circa 2268, then it’s a red dress. AFAIK, only male crew were used to demonstrate the monster of the week. At least until Tasha Yar’s death, but by then uniform regulation changes had altered the rule. So Nick should be perfectly safe wearing the red dress, barring encounters with rabid otaku.
Not that this line of reasoning has helped a Champions Online character named Petty Officer T’ridsrek…
It’s interesting to note that while there may have been more redshirts die that goldshirts or blueshirts, there were also far more redshirts who didn’t die as well. Proportionally, redshirts were actually the least likely to die.
At least that T-shirt Nick has is proving appropriate, being that it is radiation-resistant and all. That unicorn maybe the perfect Etsy antidote for Marcie.
That’s not entirely true. Female crew were killed off in ‘Wolf in the Fold’, ‘By Any Other Name’, ‘Deadly Years’ and that episode about the boy raised by aliens. Not all of them were wearing red, but some of them were.
Yeah, I lived … my dream!
I went off … with the team!
Earned my way, saved the day, got a tee!
But it don’t … seem right,
‘Til you say … that tonight
I will go … on a date … with Lee!
I’m a bit … annoyed!
Why’d I drive … this dark droid?
It’s not worth it … far as I … can see …
But tonight … we’ll go
To the local … movie show,
Where I’d planned … to hold the hand … of Lee!
Oh Doctor, Doctor!
Hand … of Lee!
Yeah, hand … of Lee!
I could stand … to hold the hand
Of Lee!
Is Marcie irradiating lobsters?
I think pre-irradiation they were the claws on water bears.
I’m reasonably sure she will have someone teach them to dance so she can sell them to a law firm
At least parts of them. Maybe she’s going to see what happens when you irradiate different parts, then try the whole animal at once.
What? You mean she’s actually not going to just go for the whole thing at once to see what happens? That sounds too safe….

I prefer looking down on fan service with a very slight sneer, but …
Please, please, please wear the Starfleet uniform.
And then basket-weave your hair and be Yeoman Rand! (To quote Spike quoting Nirvana, “Here we are now. Entertain us.”)
I don’t think Nick is old enough to buy alcohol though, would make impersonating her tricky.
You may be able to get Nick into a Starfleet uniform, but one cosplay staple you’d probably have considerably more trouble persuading him to wear:
Slave Leia.
Muhahahahahaha!
It’s a red shirt. Watch out!

I prefer to think weren’t there at all before she started working.

I sit corrected ^_^

Yeah, Nick. How could you forget about being able to watch movies? Oh, wait… :p
Not being able to WATCH movies… being able to GO TO THE MOVIES… with a grrl u like. BIG difference. 😉
mnem
Dark theatre, flickery lights onscreen, her hand mere inches away… this will end well. :p
Sorry it wasn’t clearer, but yeah… that’s exactly my point 🙂
Always remember the important things, Nick.
