Ginny: So I want to be ethical about creating this body for Nick, so besides all the cool stuff I’m putting in thats necessary for his copter body we should go mostly normal with it.
Ginny: Oh we should make his eyes glow when he does cool stuff though. He would love that.
His eyes turned blue last page when he interfaced with the server box, I also assumed it was his eyes glowing, and am fairly certain that’s likely the intent as well.
Of course the helicopter was supposed to be the distraction while they drove Mercury J. Buchanan to Kansas via Vegas. If it’s landed it’s not distracting enough.
You can give your full attention to a task without stopping breathing or even setting down your knitting. The copter has been established to be another body for him so he should be able to fly it while doing something else – like walking and chewing gum at the same time.
This is so unlike Nick, why doesn’t he just tell them to p*** off and just walk to the castle?
Because this appeals to his inner Disney Princess. 🙂
Because Aimee controls the VR and he knows himself well enough to be certain the castle will never get closer unless he follows the rules.
Of course he could probably wrest control away from Aimee at this point, but why? The VR world is in good hands and it’s not a job he wants.

To be fair to the Ginny of your speculation, he would.
I’m pretty sure that’s not cyborg-bling, that’s just the stare of somebody solving spatial problems outside their sight.

So who’s flying his helicopter, then?
Hopefully he has landed the helicopter somewhere safe. Otherwise, he is probably using the on-board autopilot.
Any ol’ flat space will do if it can take the weight. A tall building and “accidentally” blocking the roof access would be ideal.

It’s easier to say “my full attention” than “my full attention, other than the runtime needed to fly the osprey.”
More than likely, it was just an excuse so he didn’t have to carry on a conversation with Tip.
He is getting that blue-eyed glassy look he gets when his focus is elsewhere.

loving how they immediately stopped bickering and went into serious mode the moment the situation required it.
They may be dysfunctional, but they’re still professionals.
Appropriate that they’re in Lad Vegas, since what is occurring in Whimsy VR is going to stay there if Nick has any say in it.
