They’re known as “movers” in the industry to eliminate this sort of confusion. I imagine the part list says something like “4 car movers” and “16 people pegs, 8 each of blue and pink.”
Thought: who built the mutation engines? Seem like Mad work: are they stolen? Built by forced Mad labor? Are there uplifted animal Mads? Was it given to them as a gift by a Mad who just wants to see the world Beorn? (OK, I apologize for that). Or by a Mad who enjoyed the challenge of making it and doesn’t care what they do with it?
That leads to a more meta question about Mads, addressed to the authors of this fine comic: we know there are Evil Mads, who want to take over the world or at least Show all those Fools. There are Good Mads, which are kinda icky in a bad children’s cartoon sort of way. Are there morally neutral or just amoral Mads? Say ones which are in it for the Science (“it’s a pity about everyone in that village melting because I failed to carry the one, but the progress of SCIENCE sometimes demands sacrifices”), or ones more like artists or craftsmen (they don’t care if their doomsday device will be used for good or evil purposes, or used at all – only that it’s THE BEST DOOMSDAY DEVICE EVER, darn it).
“it’s a pity about everyone in that village melting because I failed to carry the one, but the progress of SCIENCE sometimes demands sacrifices” sounds to me like something a Spark would say, too.
Mad? Of course they are mad. I’m mad, you’re mad…. Oops, sorry. YES – good point. Well, given the inversification quotient of the present universe in relation to the (so called) normal universe, we might expect that the ‘sane’ geniuses of that universe are the mad ones of this?
Is Dr. Lee a Mad in this universe? (Thought: Asig has described her talent to reverse engineer mad science as “unique”: perhaps in almost all universes Lee is either Mad or normal and unable to make sense of Mad tech, rather than the odd “in between” position she holds in the home timeline).

I’ve had the opportunities to send him on a Delta 4, or a Falcon 9, but so far those are just one way trips a short ways off the earth. But a trip farther than that I would jump at. The Moon, Mars, or anywhere beyond low Earth orbit would be worth the one way trip.

Cartoon violence rarely goes out of style.
Unity really is a pawn in the game of life.
True, but she’s a pawn who can punch out the other sides’ queen.
I take it you’ve never seen Blazing Saddles.
Mongo sells himself short.
Back when I used to try to play chess, my queen quite often got punched out by a pawn.
Didn’t think the Milton Bradley game had pawns, just playing pieces…

Sparks are pretty much steampunk era mad scientists, so that’s not surprising.

The Narbonic comics say there are good mad scientists and Narbonic does seem to be canon for skin horse.
Yes, I am aware of that. I was wondering if there are also Mads who are uninterested in either hurting or helping people.
I thought the good mads were at St. Charlie

A little off topic but I thought some of you might be interested. According to the schedule, Speedy’s plane just landed in Antarctica.
That is awesome, and thanks for the update. Query: if Speedy had the opportunity to go to Mars, but it was a one-way trip, would you send him?
Absolutely.

Wow. Did anyone else notice how much like our Tip tip looks in panel 4?

At least the tiger seems honest so we don’t need to be concerned about the lie of the tiger.
