You’re monologuing, HT! That’s how they get you. If James Bond^W^W Sweetheart rushes in and foils your evil plan now, it’ll be your own darn fault for monologuing.
Portrayed a genocidal tiger in a manner that reflects his own views of his planned genocide as being noble and necessary?
Even Hitler could be charismatic and charming, and when the words coming out of his mouth weren’t about genocide, even decent people could sympathize with him.
I know, I (almost) sympathize too. Yes, HT has shown himself in the past to be devious, evil, and un-trustable, but SO FAR in this story arc, he’s just been acting sneaky, like any other politician. So almost sympathetic. But as our country may have be learning (please please please) you should look at way a candidate’s past actions and attitudes before electing him or her.
Damn, HT is an awesome villain. Definitely my favourite villain from this show, he’s classy, scary, dangerous and sympathetic. I hope he’s the main bad guy in the end!
Now—well, maybe always, but certainly right now—looks like H. T. is wondering whether freedom for all transgenics is worth it. Wouldn’t you, looking at those guys?
Being a genre savvy tyrant isn’t always so easy with minions like those running around. Ask half of Disney’s villains, most of their problems come from the funny sidekicks they have around.
Well, freedom to be weird really is a freedom, of sorts. Perhaps not the one that H.T. had in mind, but if you’re going to rule a world full of a wide variety of sentient beings, then stylistic uniformity isn’t all that likely.
I do wonder why Tip had a couple of 1950s space helmets with him, though, since they’re nowhere near his actual closet.
Oh, freedom’s just another word for being really weird,
And you can wear weird costumes if you’re free,
Bein’ weird is easy with bubble-hats and no shoes,
Bein’ weird is good enough for me,
Good enough for me and the tiger H.T.
well tip did say he was going to separate him and his shell neckles
Face it HT! You need to mellow out and become respectable. Villainy just ain’t worth it no more. ^_^
Well, Tip does love a good hat. So does Unity.

I…..sympathize…..with….H.T?
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE

Also: Keep in mind what “H.T.” stands for. If the Powers That Be are going with the Oz books canon, it’s “Hungry Tiger.”
Heh. First time for everything, nyao.
We did, Chrisn. Believe me, we did. For which I pat us on the back!
Get them on public access TV! As a kid, I was very impressed by the Unarius (local UFO types) lady’s dresses. Seriously, look those up.
You want us to look up her dresses?
That’s odd. That didn’t sound creepy when Equisetophyta said it. *grin*
i looked them up (not up them)

Oh my god they are so adorable like that
Those are some boss outfits. And look at the joyful expressions!
They’d have fit right in on any Sid and Marty Krofft show. A special brand of Cute that Shaenon can nail whenever she wants…

So, it Trip trying to make them so strange that nobody takes them seriously? (A.k.a reality blindness) Or preparing to launch them into outer space?
Maybe Tip is trying to sell them as harmless weirdos.
Maybe. But maybe trying to draw attention to them, show people how weird they are. So they won’t vote for HT and his agenda.

Don’t worry Sweetheart, it seems Tip was helping in his own way all along.
I just Google Image’d “Unarius,” and now I want to see the films. Those whack jobs had a-freakin’-mazing costumes!

They were sent from Tremontino, Tip’s fashion rival/arch enemy.

*Very* good.
There’s only one thing I can say about panel three:
I WANT PLUSHIES OF THOSE GUYS, NYAAAOOOOO!!! WHY ARE THEY NOT PLUSHIES ALREADY???
Yup. If cuteness gets them the vote, they have it nailed.
They rival the Cobras for cutest Skin Horse side characters.
NOW we find out that George Clinton and P-Funk were involved in this all along.
