What with the talking dog in goggles and the zombie girl with cat ears, the pig in a wig is the least cute thing in the room.
Other things more adorable than Cunningham include, but are not limited to: baby cobras, Dr. Lee in her pajamas, and Artie operating a scanning tunneling microscope.
It is a pretty strong case of an Informed Attribute, isn’t it? It’s probably one of those weird artist things; when Shaenon is trying to draw something really cute, it doesn’t turn out as cute as when she’s just drawing regular-like. I’ve heard artists talking about that kind of thing before.
But it’s a pig in what looks like a powdered wig, wearing either a dress or one of those robes worn by traditional judges, how is that not cute enough for you?
Alternately, the adorableness might have been edited due to it being a mnemonic hazard.
A curse upon you three for planting these ideas in my head. I will now have these voices associated with these characters forever!
Terrible
Heh.. Nibbler piggie..
Thanks. I’m in the middle of studying for the bar, so I’m not concentrating as much as I had been on the ongoing storylines in Skin Horse or Girl Genius.
Oddly enough, CPR for a dog sounds like a gentler process than CPR for humans, be they adults, infants or newborns (humans get chest compressions, dogs get cardiac massages…?)
Piggy is cute and all, but she ‘aint got nothin’ on Sweetheart when she was a puppy.

HUGS!

“Dr. Lee in her pajamas”
I would argue Dr. Lee in general, but I have a thing for Asian women in glasses.

The word you’re looking for is probably “memetic”. Unless you mean he’s so adorable he wipes out people’s memories.
Maybe this is one of those fiction filter things, where the true cuteness is filtered through the screen to prevent damage to us.
Also higher on the adorableness scale:
The quokka (http://grist.org/climate-energy/utilities-for-dummies-how-they-work-and-why-that-needs-to-change/);
The fennec fox (http://grist.org/climate-energy/utilities-for-dummies-part-2-why-we-need-competitive-electricity-markets-with-fennecs/);
and, FTW
The dik-dik (http://grist.org/article/whats-threatening-utilities-innovation-at-the-edge-of-the-grid/).
CRUD!!! It didn’t post and didn’t post so I reposted and then it posted. Sorry. Soz buckets.
Just as long as you don’t have a guy in a leather biker jacket showing up and calling the piggy ‘Mrs. C’. I’m just sayin’…
Thank you. I was hoping to have forgotten that particular television trauma.
Heeeeeyy!
I’m hearing the voice of Nibbler here.
That works out. Sweetheart’s voice, to me, has always been Leela’s.
Extrapolating, UNITY would most likely be Amy, Tip would be Fry or related, Moustachio would be Hermes, and Gavotte a friendlier Mom of MomCO.
Nick is essentially Bender as the Helicopter. Not sure who he’d be in the Bee drone.

(TUNE: “When You Wish Upon A Star”, Washington & Harline)
When your mission’s quite bizarre,
You go where the strange things are!
Cuteness overload is worse
Than we had feared …
“See, our preciousness is great,
Too much would annihilate!”
It’s enough to stop your heart
When one appeared …
Secret files
Tell of the strange “Old War” …
That what we’re searching for!
(And for his daughter!)
Dog asks zombie girl, “Are you
Pondering what I am, too?”
When your mission’s quite bizarre,
Your day … gets … weird!
That filk is more sickeningly adorable than Cunningham, and almost as adorable as Enthusiastic Unity with bobcat ears.
I want to see the others. I wouldn’t mind being vaporized by their cuteness : (
What mission is Sweetheart on anyway? To retrieve the third nuclear device?
To retrieve data from the old war, remember? The notes and artifact would probably be more valuable for her.
Thanks. I’m in the middle of studying for the bar, so I’m not concentrating as much as I had been on the ongoing storylines in Skin Horse or Girl Genius.
Piggie!
Piggy-wiggy is a wiggy piggie? Could he be related to…Foot?
Love Unity’s expression in the last panel. Cunningham’s attempts to be taken seriously are pretty cute too.
So for anyone who did not look it up yesterday, yes you can perform CPR on a dog, and no Unity did not seem to be doing it properly:

Aggg! Caught up at the wrong time!
U.N.I.T.Y. admitting she’s always working on a different mission?
I always suspected as much, but it’s refreshing to hear her say it.
It also explains a lot about the last few years.
