So Reynard is now on the side of the Good Guys. Whatever side that might be.

Right now all we know for certain is that he’s on his side, and that his side is what he perceives to be the side helping transgenics. That doesn’t mean he wants to help NHS’s in general, nor does it mean Skin Horse can necessarily recruit or ally with him, but it does mean he may be open to it.

I apologize to Renard for misspelling his name.

…so is it H.T. coming for them in the turtles’ nightmare?

If he’s their creator, then yes, I’d say. I just knew not solving that problem would come up again…

Given it appears Anasigma *actually* came for them, the dreams are nothing more than advertising.

I think some time has passed between Renard leaving H. T. and this experience…but more time has yet to pass before the Anasigma attack. Besides, wasn’t Renard outside the Greater H. T. with Daphne and Sparkle?

The turtles (which actually appear to be tortoises but whatev) were created at HT’s behest, but it was Tony and Merc that did the actual work, no?

The turtles were not created at HT’s behest. Tony had already made them. HT, as he put it, “saw potential”.

So is Yertle on top of that stack?

No, him and his crew got a book deal, so they’re living high (haw) on the royalties.

It’s appropriate that a stack of turtles coincides with our third(?) Seuss-derived story title.

Come, crown my brow with wreaths of myrtle!
I know the tortoise is a turtle.
Come, carve my name in stone immortal!
I know the turtoise is a tortle.
I know, to my profound despair:
I bet on one to beat a hare.
    I also know I’m now a pauper
Because of its tortley, turtley torpor.
    – Ogden Nash

& do listen to ‘Carnival of the Animals’ by Saint Saens. Then think about where else you might have heard the ‘Tortoise’ section. 😉

    We are pretty.
    Oh, so pretty.
We’re the pretty committee, that’s right!
    H. T. kitty
Can’t compete with our sweetness and light.

    We are charming.
    Oh, so charming.
    We’re disarming with charming appeal!
    And self-pity
Has no place when we’re all wearing high-heels.

See the pretty man all the clearer there!
Who can that handsome young man be?
    Looks so good in lace,
    Looks good in distress
    Looks good by a mile
    Looks good—but it’s me!

    They’ve got cunning.
    They’re advancing.
And their cunning and advancing is a pox!
    For we’re partnered
    With a pretty disgruntled fox!

I like how the stripes in the first panel bend around Renard’s ears 😀

Not sure about 2020, but today that cost would be about $156.62 USD – with some milk left over in the last gallon.

About $122 today, if the average price of milk I found online is accurate.

Local prices probably vary quite a lot.
