Willowweep Manor Is Here!
Shaenon: Just got my comp copies of The Dire Days of Willowweep Manor, written by me and drawn by the legendary Christopher Baldwin. Official book birthday is July 20. So, you know, check that out.
Channing: I am as in the dark as anyone about this book, and I am super anxious to experience it along with all of you!
Congratulations, Shaenon! I’m looking forward to reading it!
I always buy ebooks these days and notice it says “fixed-format”. I presume that just means each page is presented in full without the option to display panel-by-panel like many comics offer? Not a complaint – I personally prefer full-page format on my 10″ Kindle Fire HD. Just wondering.
I actually don’t know; I haven’t seen the ebook edition yet. But yeah, that’s probably what it means.
I just downloaded it to my phone and it *does* allow advancing panel-by-panel (double-tap to toggle between page and panel presentation).
Ooo congrats!!
That book shares my birthday! It looks awesome!
Nice! Is it available for preorder?
Yep. On Amazon, at least.
I preordered after the mention last week. Been curious since the pages were posted here a couple of years ago.
Oooh that elephant wind chime..!
The book looks great, too 🙂
Interesting… the elephant was the first thing I noticed too!
Yes! I’ve been looking forward to the book. I’ll be getting it through either my local comic store or bookstore.
Congratulations!! I’ll have to grab this one soon as I see a copy!
I am SO excited for this book. I genuinely can’t wait to get a copy. ✨
Congratulations! I’ve now preordered it. 🙂
A book set in Willoweep Manor announced by a page, not a banner. With anticipation, amelioration within the as-usual manner.
Congrats! That’s awesome!
<3
Those are nice windchimes! Is the one closest to the post metal or wood?
That one’s made from a coconut and shells. I have a lot of tiki stuff.
It’s so nice to see you happy!
Published in the UK on 16 September, apparently.
!!!
Huzzah! I can’t wait to read it!!! <3
I’ve finally finished and very much enjoyed reading my (physical, hence delayed by lockdown) copy. At a few points I thought that Shaenon was enjoying channelling Jeff in writing stuff that she didn’t have to draw!
