For a girl with such small wings, Goose Girl sure can lift.
Acoustic levitation?
The ways of mad science remain obscure to me.
Tiny wings, huge lungs.
I honestly have to wonder what makes them different from the various other transgenics in the eyes of A-Sig and Mr. Green. Like, really, what makes Goose Girl different from Niue?
Or is this more of a “use the ones with useful powers who buy into our ‘humans first’ line to take out the ones who don’t, then purge them” situation?
Goose Girl started human (attacked by radioactive Canada Goose, iirc), while Niue was made that way, I think.
Seems like the way “gains power from cosmic/gammas rays” is fine in Marvel comics, but “born with a mutation” and all of a sudden you’re an unsubtle metaphor for racism/teen angst.
