Comic-Con Sketch-at-Thon
Shaenon: It’s Comic-Con weekend! This year the con is 100% online, but I’m there all the same. Handsome museum curator Andrew Farago was kind enough to interview me for my Comic-Con spotlight panel, possibly the only panel this year with two people in the same room.
I’m also participating in the Comic-Con Sketch-a-Thon for the Cartoon Art Museum. Commission sketches from me and/or a whole bunch of other cartoonists. Proceeds benefit the museum. Tell the world!
Channing: Watch celebrated comics professional Andrew interview industry veteran Shaenon! Watch them breathe on one another and interact like humans! It’s a spectacle of a bygone age, straight out of the Before Times! Not to be missed!
I see that you and your assistant both have the same thinking expression. Robin may not yet have developed the speed-drawing superpower that you’re exhibiting.
Fierce sketching. Hope your young copyeditor can keep up.
Love how Robin’s hanging on like a baby monkey; he’s one cute little sprog.
Skin Horse will be over in a couple weeks??? Nooooooooooo!!
I’m not sure where you got that from? It’s been a couple of days since I watched the video, but I seem to recall Shaenon saying it would take another year or so to wind up the strip.
Can confirm that it’s nearly two years later, and it’s still going, although it does seem to be heading for a climax.
(Also, remember when people still remembered the Before Times?)
