So this isn’t the end, but we seem to be past the prelude to the introduction of it.

Reading between the lines, I guess Jeff plans to make it rain. Also, good idea to leave the gold chain Anasigma logo necklace out of the drawings. I’d hate for Jeff to become the latest webcartoonist to have their jewelry boosted from their Porsche.
I assume Pancha will execute a minion out of pure exuberance, no Leona Helmsley level justification needed this time.
Be nicer to Jeff. Next time he orders up a miniature version of the city of Rome for the silverfish, draw it.
I know it eventually will, but I honestly hope this will never end.
I approve of Jeff’s plan for the future.
The books have been averaging 3-4 chpaters, so assuming that’s a roughly consistent metric, by my count we’re somewhere between halfway through the Orange book, and halfway through the Olive book, which would leave one-and-a-half to two-and-a-half books left, or 4.5 to 10 plotlines left.
Skinhorse might end, but I suspect there will be a strip set in this universe for many, MANY years to come.
More of your fanfic WILL bring us joy. So, while Skin Horse is of course wonderful and epic, there will be good stuff to look forward to.

Maybe some kind of themed party or mini-con where your longtime fans can come and dress as their favorite characters and meet you two (and one another) in person and generally revel in the marvelous works of cartoonery you’ve been inflicting on us for almost two decades now? Seems an appropriate way to mark the occasion, no?
Speaking of Anasigma, is the backwards sigma Shaenon used to depict a crumpled sleeve in the tattoo panel an Easter egg or a coincidence?
My money would be on “coincidence”, since the Anasigma logo isn’t backwards.
But, but but, I don’t want skin horse to be over…
Well, then, isn’t it a good thing that Shaenon said it’ll be a while before it ends?
She gave us a years warning on Narbonic ending. I think we have a while yet.

Eh, I go back and forth.
Doubt that ANY ending will ‘happify’ me. However, the damnable so-called service I am forced to try to read the favorite comics on is getting so bad I only try to read two or three times a week.
You aren’t getting enough money from the corporate shill-heads. Period.
Is there a “Fruit Snacks for Shaenon’s children” level on Patreon. How many professional cartoonists are routinely torn between the choice of wholesome snacks for their children and memorial/mission accomplished tattoos with which to assail their great-grandchildren and nursing home staff?
I’d kickstart the tattoo.
Is it wrong that I’m really excited for the MLP fanfiction? Like I love Skin Horse, but I always knew it would end, and its awesome to know that I’ve got even more to look forward to in the future.
Oh God we dont need more my little pony stuff. I’d rather read this comic a billion times over until I know every page before it happens and I dream about it (I can control my dreams like a book lol)
