November 2018 Wallpaper: Patchwork
Shaenon: I wanted to draw something warm and cozy, so here’s a quilt-themed illustration. As always, if you make a donation in any amount to the Skin Horse Tip Jar, or contribute any amount to our Patreon, we’ll give you a link to this wallpaper, designed for two computer desktop sizes and cell phones. Patreon contributors will continue to receive new wallpaper for the length of their contribution.
You’ll also get this bonus autumn wallpaper from the archives:
Channing: I’m sure you’ll agree this is the perfect wallpaper to keep your desktop warm during these increasingly chilly winter months.
Every picture tells a story…
Well, not every picture. Unless “Wait… what? How is that even… what were you even trying… who was… why were they… WHAT???” counts as a story.
Every picture does tell a story. Not every picture is the narrative itself. Sometimes the story is simply that the artist was smoking cheap crack laced with drain cleaner, and they were higher than Kilimanjaro when they drew the picture.
If you go down that road, then every comment on a web site also tells a story. Not every story deserves to be heard.
She’s not fooling us with that dust jacket- that’s the Hot Goblin Omnibus!
Is it just me, or does that wallpaper image make anyone else want to shout, “Big money, no Whammies!”
… Although my sister and I always found the Whammy animations the most entertaining part of that show.
I did not think of the show Press Your Luck when I first saw the image, but now that you’ve mentioned it, that’s all I can think of. 🙂
My eyes are giving me trouble this morning, but I wasn’t surprised that Shaenon would draw something “warm and oozy”.
