More Mystery Sketches
Shaenon: Another sketch from my current mystery project.
Channing: Intrigued levels rising. What could it be, I wonder?
I’m not being coy, I really don’t know.

New Whimsey Princess?
Curiouser and curiouser…
“Nixie Breaker Fairy Armadillo” sounds like a late 80s/early 90s manga title.
Or free verse.
Magical girl attack! And it still makes more sense than “Star Gentle Uterus”
Star Gentle Uterus actually makes perfect sense, presuming the exposition elsewhere in that chapter by one of Sailor Star Maker’s compatriots is valid.
In the version of the canon where that attack appears, stars are partially conceptual things. In addition the the giant balls of hydrogen too hot be termed burning they are in the physical sense, they are also metaphorically the collective will and power and desire of the people around them. With that in mind, in order to properly Make a star, you must also Make people. Making people requires a certain biological component.
This also casts a new light on Metallia’s method of attack: by devouring the sun, she was attacking the hearts of the people – trying to make Serenity’s subjects her mindless slaves.
I was thinking it sounded like a string from a coded message. It could totally work as an Anime, tho.
Dance-magic moves? Would that be “Terpsichormancy?”
Magical Boy!
(TUNE: “Tiny Dancer”, Elton John)
Nixie Breaker … booty shaker …
Sketched her with a pen!
Armadillo … Fairy will, oh,
Cast a spell, and then,
Magic wand girl … makes the sand swirl!
She makes it sparkle, makes it glow!
Shaenon K.’s next … secret project?
(Even Jeffrey doesn’t know!)
And we scratched our heads and said,
“What the tale … of this female?”
Garrity … makes it look easy!
It’s just a breeze, see?
We see …
Sunday filler, fairy dancer!
Practice sketches, simple inking!
