Agnes Starbreaker: Bootlegger of Mars
Shaenon: Looking through old Skin Horse thumbnails, I found these sketches for an idea SH colorist Pancha Diaz and I had ages ago. I’d forgotten all about Agnes Starbreaker: Bootlegger of Mars, but it’d be a boss comic book.
Channing: I mean, the title alone.
Bring ’em into Skin Horse. With this reality blindness thing, they could use some good help.
Oh my GOSH yes.
It’d be so boss, it’d have a corner office!
I must add that to my repertoire.
I think U.N.I.T.Y used that once.
This is bloody amazing. I had no idea that I needed this in my life, but it rather seems that I do.
Can this be a kickstarter stretch goal? I love scifi, I love the 20s and I love premafia/mafia stories. THIS IS ALL THREE IN ONE. PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!
I want to read this. Very, very much.
With a nemesis named Babyface Kepler, what else could you need?
Feels like it should be a spin-off from Cat Valente’s Radiance
Love it, and of course Nick would be the spaceship.
And, of course, Agnes Starbreaker does have some pretty cool boots on her legs.
Does Babyface enforce Kepler’s Laws, or break them?
Sadly there’s no Kickstarter or I’d Throw All The Money at it.
Comic. Anime. RPG setting. Whatever.
Make It Happen, Please!
I would read the book! Or the comic. Or watch the movie. Or the series. Or play the board game. Whatever. Make this happen, please and thank you very much!
Oh man….. I’m in the middle of reading ALL THE BOOKS in Kerry Greenwood’s “Miss Fisher Mysteries”, the ones set in the Flapper era; and now I’m going to be waiting for Babyface Kepler to show up as a villain.
I read Cortez as “Hired Mustache.” I am disappointed that I was wrong, because that would be so cool.
Dude. I would so read that!
Well, I know who’s going to show up in my Starfinder game, now.
I want to see them running illicit moonshine!
I know the moons are Deimos and Phobos … what’s a “hine”? It’s cognac!
For some reason Babyface Kepler reminds me of Mitzi May from Lackadaisy, even though she looks nothing like how Tracy draws her as a human.
