Horror Every Day
Shaenon: Like I don’t have enough going on, I’ve started a daily sketchblog, Horror Every Day, as an outlet for my obsession with horror movies (that’s what I usually watch when I’m drawing and scanning Skin Horse). I select the correct horror movie to watch for every day of the year. Hope you like it!
Channing: This is, I think you’ll agree, great news. It’ll be great to see some new content from you every day OH WAIT
So, did the quake hurt your area any?
Pretty neat new series but how will you fill the space on Friday the 13th?
The epicenter of the quake was just a few blocks from me! It woke us all up except for Robin.
I once slept through a quake of similar size in New York.
My uncle was in Oakland during the last Big One (the World Series one). He was driving on the highway, and when it hit, he thought he had four flat tires.
I remember that movie…liked the punchline of it.
Will you be covering the Hammer Films perchance?
ALL HORROR ALL THE TIME.
Hoping for The Wicker Man, with its famous No Resemblance Body Double for Britt Ekland…
Best ever live action movie rendition of Meatloaf’s Bat Out of Hell album cover.
HOLY CRAP, I saw the last half of that movie decades ago (On The Sci-Fi Channel, maybe?), and have spent YEARS wondering what the Devil I’d seen. I failed to find any hint of the movie on the early internet or in the movie rental chains that roamed the Earth back in those times.
I’d given up hope on ever learning what that baffling enigma of a movie had been, and am absolutely gobsmacked that the answer has spontaneously leapt out at me from my daily reading.
That movie was awesome. I love a good mindscrew.
