Narbonic Bookmark Art
Shaenon: I’m planning a Kickstarter campaign to reprint the Narbonic books, which recently sold out their first print run. This art is for a bookmark I’m making for Kickstarter backers. More on this exciting story as it progresses.
Channing: More Narbonic in the world is a good thing. Speaking as a scary sort of fan, this is indeed an exciting development.
Welcome back, Helen, long time no see.
Love to see a Mel bookmark… aiming a bazooka straight on… “You *were* planning to buy and read this, right?”
Or maybe saying “Don’t you dare lose my page!!”
If one of the stretch goals is reformatting the “Dave in Slumberland” comics so they can work in print, I’ll be backing. Just saying.
Or posters? I remember a few people saying they would pay for posters of them.
I have the books and I’d rebuy them for this.
Yes! Count me in as a prospective backer.
Please create some tiers for those who already own the books but would love to help out with getting it reprinted.
I second this comment.
Thirded, but also thirding the above note about Slumberland Dave comics!
Agreed.
Please consider as a stretch goal, a print of, or poster based on, the strip where Dave realized he was mad. (With the Lewis Carroll quote). Thanks!

Raise your hand, everyone who’d pay extra for a printing of the Victorian Narbonic story and/or (preferably and) Mr. Channing’s insanely long fanfic. If those are too long for the book, a separate comic book would make me happy, especially if the Victorian story were printed in sepia. Show of hands?
Hand!
Hand!
Two hands!
Note: I control the adult graphic novels budget for a public library.
Hand!
Hands!
Any chance you could include the Couscous bonus stories in the (presently hypothetical) volume 3, along with the Victorian Narbonic and Mr. Channing’s insanely long fanfic? Most of the Couscous books are out of print, and I missed a few.
Seconded.
I need more hands than Unity’s hopechest! Great ideas, folks!
Any chance of getting a version of the books that have the Director’s Cut commentary?
I just found Narbonics, read through it, and purchased the E-books.
Yeah.
I’m a geek.
But I’m an EV<3IL GEEK!
