More Adventurous ABCs
Shaenon: Another illustration for The Adventurous ABCs, written by Jess Nevins and drawn by me. This is the A page.
Channing: Loving the background detail! At time of writing, Shaenon’s team is almost halfway to goal on this. If you have friends or watchers who might be interested in books about letters (rather than merely containing them) and you feel cool about socializing with them on topics like this, do feel free to get the word out!
An ape and an arab archeologist arm-wrestle on an armadillo altar in the Andean Altiplano?
Looks like Aztec architecture to me.
Mayan, methinks.
Dunno about “Arab”… but that does look a bit like African-American Artie.
Looks kinda androgynous to me.
I believe the head scarf is argyle, amiright?
Absolutely
The arcialagist seems to be in front of a bush of azaleas
I suppose the shirt is azure.
Also the Arab is sitting on adobe bricks.
Ankle bracelet?
Agave leaves in the foreground?
Why is UNITY going easy on that great ape?
Looking aggressive.
Did nobody notice the armadillo?
Nobody ever mentions the armadillo in the room. The sky looks pretty azure also.
Anna the Archaeologist, in Azure and Argyle, arm wrestles an applegreen ape above an armadillo, while on her Aztec adventure.
