Artie and Sergio by Tuitey Fruity
Shaenon: Tuitey Fruity drew this cute picture of Artie and Sergio. In official Skin Horse continuity, of course, these two were only a couple in an alternative universe where things went horribly wrong and they probably got eaten by plant zombies or something. But hope springs eternal.
Tuitey Fruity writes, “I kinda want to explain the shirts. For some reason I got the impression Artie ended up at UC Berkeley at the end of Narbonic, but that may have been a fever dream? Sergio has a nerdy shirt with ‘RESISTANCE IS NOT FUTILE ?=V/I’ written on it.” Tuitey, your memory is correct and your shirts are awesome.
Channing: Because I am me, I thoroughly encourage any and all ‘shipping.
Actually, it should be written Ohm symbol = Volts/Amperes, or R=E/I…
{hanging head in shame} I just earned more geek points, didn’t I, nyao? =T_T=
this is an actual tshirt my engineer boyfriend owns
My roommate Darkstarr wants one that says “I failed the Turing Test”, because he found out MIT engineering majors were wearing them back in the 60’s.
You say that like it’s a bad thing.
Nah, if you wanted more geek points, you would have said useless, not futile.
That’s definitely an omega on the shirt. It probably didn’t track between Tuitey’s font in the email and Shaenon’s on her email client, so it showed up as a question mark.
At the end of Narbonic, Artie became an elementary school teacher in Berkeley.
Bonus: on Friday he can hiccup himself back to gerbildom(?) and let one of his students take him home for the weekend.
Pedophilia? I hope Artie sticks to people like Tip and Ginny.
Thought AltArtie gave Sergio the body of AltSergio in a duffel bag as a farewell gift…
Resistance begins at Ω.
