Shaenon: Thumbnail for a page from “Forward…To the Past!”, the bonus story in the impending Skin Horse volume 6. This one features temporally confused mad scientists Imogene and Debbi, two of our favorite minor characters.
Channing: Debbi was always meant to be one of those pre-credit segment people who kinda get thrown under the bus just to demonstrate the conflict and stakes of the upcoming episode, but I found I kinda liked her and I eventually got a little itchy about her lack of closure. If you felt that way too, I hope this bonus story meets your needs.

Imogene Frog … Originally showed up in Narbonic … Later appeared in Skin Horse where she became a victim of Tigerlily’s weapons-grade mojo.
I felt a little lost when she was dumped in the safe house after the big escape, and never came up again in the storyline. (I hadn’t yet read the Narbonics books at the time.)
On a side note, I’d like to make my prediction for the end of Skin Horse: All of the plotting will turn out to be the work of Aig-Kali, Giver of Food (that happens to have mind control spores in it).
Well this definitely is making me want to own every Skin Horse collection. Or at least volume 6.
