So Unity considers that a vacation…I guess it does pretty well fit her idea of fun, at that. Too bad they couldn’t have taken Hitty, she probably would have enjoyed it, too.
So is Tip the trainer, trainee, or subject for trainees to practice on? Because it really could be any of the three. For convenience, I listed them in descending order of Tip’s likely expectations and ascending order of comedic potential.
(Hope it doesn’t turn out to be a dark version of the last one, though. I don’t want successful or dangerously-close-to-successful brainwashing of our Tip.)
Actually I think it might be (or “might have been,” anyway) a car door. You can see the sheen of the window glass in that trapezoid on the left, and the small rectangle on the lower right is the handle.
Asig, the secret company/conspiracy dudes, are not hunting for them because everyone who knows that they were there got eaten by the swamp. Also, they’re not looking for Sergio because they found the corpse of alt Sergio.
Perhaps it’s a recent addition? Depending on how mad-sciency she is [1], some useful accessorizing may be possible.
[1] Mustachio, if I understand correctly, is so weird that adding legs or wheels isn’t feasible because integration with his existing parts is impossible.
I suppose they could’ve brought back more souvenirs from that other world…say, maybe, some of that Screwfly Solution virus that made the women go kill crazy on the men there.
So why is Sweetheart grumpy aboutt this again? Everyone is adapting nicely, and she can get more work done. She even gets a nice, near-indestructible card out of this.
Unless it’s dormant herding instincts coming to the fore, trying to keep her pack together in one place.
Ah, nice to see some of the old gang again!
Especially Hitty.
Yeah. Hitty’s such a nice…girl?
As soon as I saw Hitty, I yelled out, “Hurray!”.
Still adore her.
I had completely forgotten that Hitty existed.
So Unity considers that a vacation…I guess it does pretty well fit her idea of fun, at that. Too bad they couldn’t have taken Hitty, she probably would have enjoyed it, too.
I have trouble imagining Alt-Hitty at this time of my morning. She would have had difficulty fitting through the Portal, though, wouldn’t she?
I have a funny feeling this “training” is not going to turn out to be what Tip expects.
I strongly suspect it’s going to be exactly what Tip expects.
I’m going with “both”
I was going to say that maybe they are just going to introduce him to Mr. Bester but then I realized that’s psi, not psych.

Depends. Are the trainees women, or just cross-dressing like Tip is? ‘Course it could still all work out one particular way.
Pretty sure that card is a flattened file cabinet
You know how it is: when all you have is a hammer, everything starts to look like Sweetheart’s high-priority filing cabinet.
Actually I think it might be (or “might have been,” anyway) a car door. You can see the sheen of the window glass in that trapezoid on the left, and the small rectangle on the lower right is the handle.
I missed last comic, Wait why is the government after the portal guy but not everyone else?
Asig, the secret company/conspiracy dudes, are not hunting for them because everyone who knows that they were there got eaten by the swamp. Also, they’re not looking for Sergio because they found the corpse of alt Sergio.
That’s A-sig, not government, And they’re after him because they want a new portal.
I have a funny feeling that “training” will be exactly the kind of “train” that Tip expects. It’s his superpower, after all.
Yes. We could all use more of this type of training.
Aww, Hitty. You’ve violently insinuated yourself directly into our heart. I wonder what Hitty smashed repeated to make that card.
…is that a piet mondrian dress?
Looks like. I have to say, Tip is showing very good taste there.
Actually YSL, but with sleeves it may be a knock off.
Apparently there were ten slightly different styles in the Mondrian collection, but only the sleeveless shift dress has become iconic.
(There’s a French Wikipedia entry for it at https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robe_Mondrian)
Looks like they skinned the Partridge Family bus…
On the other hand, he may just be auditioning to join Shonen Knife.
Hitty has a non-hammer arm?!
For holding the thing to be hit, you see.
You’d expect that to be a full-sized claw. Instead, she has an adorably dainty hand.

[1] Mustachio, if I understand correctly, is so weird that adding legs or wheels isn’t feasible because integration with his existing parts is impossible.
It’s used for hitting adorably dainty things… bisque figurines, Hello Kitty merchandise, etc.
I suppose they could’ve brought back more souvenirs from that other world…say, maybe, some of that Screwfly Solution virus that made the women go kill crazy on the men there.
That would balance the misogynistic viruses that already populate *our* universe, but may just be a plot device in the Narboniverse.
Also the universe of Alice Sheldon, a.k.a Raccoona Sheldon, a.k.a. James Tiptree, Jr.
Bubbles’ aqua-colored dress with the darker blue bubbles is adorable.

Is Tip saluting?
Oh Yes!
At least someone is happy to see Sweetie back đŸ˜€
Some fantastic dresses in this strip.
