Hedgehog by Pancha Diaz
Shaenon: Remember, back during the maternity-leave guest strips, there was a storyline (drawn by the wonderful Elena Diaz) involving adorable zombie-plant hedgehogs in Colma? Well, there was. Now our colorist and book designer, Pancha Diaz, who has a plethora of amazing skills and is also Elena’s sister, has knitted me a biomass hedgehog. How cute is this guy?
Thank you so much for this and everything, Pancha.
Channing: EEE! HEDGIES!!! I’m so excited! Okay, clearly that’s going to be the limit of my coherency tonight. Thank you so much to the Sisters Diaz, Pancha for the adorable plushie, and Elena for working with me on the original.
There needs to be more squeeing Jeff in the “author’s voice” stripz
Looks like you *don’t* need Nera’s 3-D printer to make one of these little guys, after all!
Those white things Biomass hedgehog eggs?
I was wondering that too….. hey, it’s an adorable biohedgemasshog! Eggs would be perfectly understandable!
Could be Biomass hedgehog droppings, though…
Skuu?
Now I want to know if Pancha is on Ravelry. And also, I want to crochet my *own* zombie planthog, please.
Hedgie eggs? Nope – indoor snowballs (I buy ’em in bulk for the nieces/nephews).
I am on ravelry! Here is the link to my hedgie, which also has a link to the pattern page. FYI, the pattern is in British, so hdc actually means sc.
