Must say, I loved this week. And isn’t ‘I am pleased but also terrified’ roughly akin to the motto of Skin Horse itself?
Also, oh dear: ever since Jonah escaped from Anasigma, I suspect he’s been casually undoing all their plans. Sooner or later, at this rate, he’ll either usurp the director or qualify for extirpation.

Well, of all the things to overrun the country, cute hedgehogs beat out some of the other possibilities, like rage-virus zombies or xenomorphs or, heaven help us, politicians. Plus they do seem to be providing a service when they’re not coming up through the toilets.
Why would you put the 3D printer in a position where it could be used by the hedgies if that was their only breakout contingency?
How could you say no to those cuties?
This is The Cypress, or a descendant thereof. It doesn’t need to actually use a 3D printer; it just needs to grow woody bits in the same shapes.
It was only on a third reading, considering the last-panel sweat drop, that I realized that ‘I learned’ was supposed to be ‘it learned’. Duh.
Slight mistake in the third panel. It says ‘I suppose it’d be bad if I learned how to print Hedgies itself.’ I think it should be ‘I suppose it’d be bad if IT learned how to print Hedgies itself.’
Sorry if I missed it, but is Shaenon on vacation? Some of these guest artist are great, I’m just confused.
