Dethany as Unity by Bill Holbrook
Shaenon: Jeff and I had the awesomest time ever at Emerald City Comicon last weekend. Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by our booth, came to our panels, and otherwise made our year. (Also special thanks to Phil and Kaja Foglio and their kids for letting me crash in their guest room for the weekend.) We shared a booth with webcomics legend Bill Holbrook, who somehow draws the daily strips Kevin and Kell, On the Fastrack, and Safe Havens all at the same time. It makes no sense.
Bill even had time to draw us this awesome sketch of Dethany from On the Fastrack as Unity. Thank you, Bill! You are amazing!
Channing: Ditto to absolutely all of the above. Seriously, you could just reprint the entire text of Shaenon’s comment here except you would have to substitute the word “Shaenon” for the word “Jeff” and omit the part of the parenthetical phrase about lodging with the Foglio family. You would have to replace it with “Special thanks to Phil and Kaja Foglio for being so freaking awesome.” That would about cover it.

I agree with Jeff The Foglio’s are freaking awesome 😀
I’m so sad I didn’t know you guys were there, and I missed you. :<
Warning to everyone who went to ECCC, there was an attendee there with contagious measles. If you feel sick at all, go to the doctor immediately. This is far, far worse than the usual con crud.

I was about to say the same thing. And don’t just show up, call the doctor ahead. They’ll want to prepare to minimize chances of exposing anyone else – measles is more contagious than The Game.
