Skin Horse 4 Is Here!
Shaenon: And it’s beautiful! Want one? It’s here.
And if you’re in the Bay Area in September and/or October, you need to come to a book release party for Skin Horse Volume 4, because those are always great. This year we’re having one party at Tr!ckster in Berkeley and one at Borderlands Books in San Francisco, both great stores you were planning to visit anyway. So come on over and have cupcakes and such!
Channing: Having been to such a party, I can confirm that if you are in the area, you should definitely do this thing!
I shall add it to my pile of Skin Horse books!
Is the Tr!ckster party on Ashby on in a “pop-up” location?
No, they have a permanent location there!
These events are some of the extremely rare times I wish I lived on the west coast.
Earthquakes, SH, and Nukees are the only good things about California. Although as a fan of Bleach I should probably include Viz Media as well since Shaenon is employed there according to the Shaenon.com bio..
I’m having trouble posting comments today for some reason.

Apologies for the garbled messages … I pasted in the wrong place (PLEASE someday can we edit or delete our comments??)
(TUNE: “So Far Away”, Carole King)
Too far away,
Out in California, all of the Garrity fans,
Worshippers of Wells, as well, will all make their plans
To gather from ev’ry state …
See them … congregate!
See them celebrate the launch of … Skin Horse Four!
Partry will have food and drinks and laughter and more!
But now my heart is sore,
‘Cause I’m too far away …
All of the cool kids cruising in California …
I’m stuck doing yard work in Fort Wayne!
But I will make it there some day, I warn ya!
But ’til that comes, I will remain …
Way too far away …
Maybe on the day when Skin Horse Volume Twelve comes out,
I will make it out to San Francisco, doubt!
Until then, I’ll whine and pout
That I’m too … far away …
Wa-a-a-ay too … far away …
YES! Oh, wait, you mean the book. (c8
I honestly don’t know what looks better: the book or the author
You say that only because you’ve never had pizza at the Cheeseboard. That’s another reason
